</i></b></p><p>Empire Landscape seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to assist the accounting team with daily financial tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in payroll processing, accounts payable, and maintaining organized financial records.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><i>
Duties/Responsibilities:</i></b></h2><ul><li>
Assist with processing employee paychecks and supporting payroll tasks.</li><li><p>
Help manage Accounts Payable (AP) by reviewing invoices and preparing payments.</p></li><li><p>
Perform weekly filing of financial documents and maintain organized accounting records.</p></li><li><p>
Enter financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.</p></li><li><p>
Support the accounting team with basic reconciliations and administrative tasks.</p></li><li><p>
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information</p></li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><i><br>
Required Skills/Abilities:
</i></b></h2><ul><li><p>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>
Basic understanding of accounting principles.</p></li><li><p>
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</p></li><li><p>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.</p></li><li>
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Schedule:</b></h2><p>
This internship requires in-office work on Wednesdays to assist with weekly filing and accounting tasks. Additional hours may be flexible depending on workload and availability.</p>

Offered compensation: $18/hr - $20/hr</p>
