THE OPPORTUNITY / LA OPORTUNIDAD: We are currently seeking an experienced Hotel Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping Department team at The Shoal La Jolla.Estamos buscando una recamarera/ Asistentes de Limpieza con experiencia para unirse a nuestro equipo en The Shoal La Jolla.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Check housekeeping cart for supplies, stock as needed</li><li>Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgment.</li><li>MUST have open availability on weekends</li><li>Strip dirty linens/towels and remove used amenities from room/suite.</li><li>Clean rooms/ suites, as assigned, which includes: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows/tracks.</li><li>Reports rooms as clean and available.</li><li>Reports maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain the room in compliance with hotel standards.</li><li>Replenish linen and guest amenities.</li><li>Clean balconies, if applicable.</li><li>Respond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service time requests.</li></ul>RESPONSABILIDADES DEL TRABAJO:<ul><li>Verifique que el carro de limpieza tenga todo los suministros necesarios para hacer el trabajo durante el d&iacute;a.</li><li>DEBE tener disponibilidad abierta los fines de semana</li><li>Saludar los hu&eacute;spedes inmediatamente, creando un ambiente sincera y de agradecimiento.</li><li>Sacar sabanas y toallas sucias y quitar las amenidades usadas de la habitaci&oacute;n.</li><li>Limpiar habitaciones asignados, que incluye: hacer las camas, limpieza de ba&ntilde;os, sacudir, aspirar y lavar las ventanas.</li><li>Informar al gerente del hotel cuales habitaciones est&aacute;n limpias y disponibles</li><li>Informar sobre deficiencias en mantenimiento, con el fin de mantener el hotel en conformidad con las normas del hotel.</li><li>Reponer sabanas en las camas y amenidades a las habitaciones asignadas para limpiar.</li><li>Limpiar los balcones, si procede.</li><li>Responder a las peticiones de los hu&eacute;spedes (tales como proporcionar servicios o amenidades adicionales).</li></ul>JOB QUALIFICATIONS &amp; REQUIREMENTS: <ul><li>High school degree or equivalent.</li><li>MUST have open availability on weekends </li><li>The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) to two (2) years of Housekeeping experience</li><li>Prefer the candidate have prior experience working in a hotel/resort.</li><li>Pleasant demeanor</li><li>Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner.</li><li>Must have the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice.</li><li>Must be willing and available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul>CALIFICACIONES y REQUISITOS DEL TRABAJO:<ul><li>Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente.</li><li>El candidato ideal tendr&aacute; por lo menos una (1) a dos (2) a&ntilde;os de experiencia en limpieza en un hotel o resort.</li><li>Personal agradable.</li><li>DEBE tener disponibilidad abierta los fines de semana</li><li>Disfrute del trabajo en un ambiente movido.</li><li>Positivo, optimista y la clase de persona que puede ofrecer la satisfacci&oacute;n total a los hu&eacute;spedes.</li><li>Capacidad para manejar situaciones estresantes con calma y profesionalidad.</li><li>Debe tener la capacidad de comunicarse de manera clara, con eficaz y directamente con los hu&eacute;spedes mediante una voz positiva y clara.</li><li>Debe estar dispuesto y disponible para trabajar durante los d&iacute;as laborables, los fines de semana y d&iacute;as festivos.</li></ul>NOTE: This brief job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
