 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 
 The Production Coordinator will be an excellent multitasker, working as the client advocate with all warehouse interactions for the Pet Division
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assists in handling order processing and tracking orders
 </li>
 <li>
 Style and PO creation
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate daily with internal/external partners regarding production and delivery information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the head of production with the initial creation from sourcing, manufacturing, to the finalized product.
 </li>
 <li>
 Daily communication with designers and salespeople
 </li>
 <li>
 Reviews the vendor manual on what requirements have to be given to the factories.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and organize a sample room and sample information records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Submit samples on time to the customer for approval.
 </li>
 <li>
 Get familiarized and work with EDI requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in the shipping/logistics department as he/she will monitor shipments, handle checking of shipping documentation from overseas, and prepare shipping documents needed for local deliveries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in the accounting department in checking invoices/ PL from factories.
 </li>
 <li>
 Submit the supplier&rsquo;s invoices on time to the accounting department for payment weekly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintaining and updating the forecast chart
 </li>
 <li>
 Report on status updates of ongoing projects and tasks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Trouble-shoot challenges with realistic and creative solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain, Document, and implement efficient tracking strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform related duties as assigned.
 </li>

 COMPETENCIES
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proactive, Motivated, and Trainable
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience using AIMS is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with multinational trade and export is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 A strong knowledge of U.S. Customs laws and procedures is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with content, product &amp; inventory management
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong relationship management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional Organizational Skills: planning, expediting, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks and meeting corporate deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work autonomously and effective time management.
 </li>

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 </li>

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 
 
 
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent, with wholesale imports or related experience; or an Associate&rsquo;s degree with 1 year of wholesale imports or related experience; or 2+ years in a wholesale imports or related role.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 
 We are looking for a
 
 full-time packaging graphics designer
 
 to join our in-house Art Team, working in our midtown Manhattan location. This individual will be working as part of our art/design team and help us develop packaging designs and graphics for a wide variety of
 
 housewares, lighting, d&eacute;cor, home office, and wall d&eacute;cor items.

 <ul>
 <li>
 Develops packaging design and production files for a wide variety of fashion-driven housewares, LED lighting, and wall d&eacute;cor items in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate the feasibility of design ideas and develop packaging solutions that highlight product features and benefits.
 </li>
 <li>
 As needed, build packaging mock-ups and illustrations for presentations and approvals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate daily with overseas factories to follow up with the packaging projects, to ensure timely and successful end results.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reviews factory mock-ups, makes necessary adjustments and approves final packaging samples for production.
 </li>
 <li>
 Creates attractive product lifestyles, presenting items in appropriate room settings, following brand guidelines and trends using Photoshop and Lightroom.
 </li>
 <li>
 Works on the graphic layouts of the packaging.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform related duties as assigned.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 COMPETENCIES
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Packaging construction knowledge and ability to develop and adjust deadlines and production technical packages is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Some packaging material knowledge, and ability to choose the right material(s) for efficient production, optimal footprint, and a good balance between strength, esthetics, and cost efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in Adobe Creative suite, focusing mainly on Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom. InDesign knowledge is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Team player to work in a collaborative environment with other designers and product development teams, reporting to Art Director.
 </li>
 <li>
 Problem-solving personality
 </li>
 <li>
 Photoshop skills -to create product lifestyle images, and ability to manipulate product photography for new finishes, colors, or sizes, as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 The ability to work on graphics and create presentations is a plus.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 
 
 
 
 BA/BFA Degree in Graphic Design or Related Field with 3+ years Design Experience
