OVERVIEW:
The HR Analyst performs a variety of professional administrative tasks and organizes information with Encore Electric&rsquo;s HRIS (UKG) to support the Human Resources Business Partner team.

 Compensation for this role: $34.00 to $37.00 per hour depending on experience

</ul>
Specific Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Operational HR Processing</li>
<li>Push new hires into UKG each week, including processing E-Verify</li>
<li>Manage weekly payroll changes in HRIS and communicate updates to Payroll in accordance with established procedures</li>
<li>Administer and support the performance review process as directed, including apprentice self-reviews, ensuring consistency, compliance, and equitable application across the organization with direction from HRBPs</li>
<li>Ensure apprentice job titles are accurate by conducting periodic audits and processing title updates</li>
<li>Lead the annual I‑9 audit, identifying risks, ensuring corrective action, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Collect employee relations data and deliver to HR Business Partners</li>
</ul>
Data and Reporting
<ul>
<li>Design, build, and maintain standard and ad hoc reports from the HRIS (UKG) to support the human resources business partner (HRBP) team</li>
<li>Produce recurring reports, dashboards and metrics in key people areas including:</li>
<li>Onboarding and new‑hire trends</li>
<li>Performance management cycles and completion rates</li>
<li>Attendance, absences, and pattern identification</li>
<li>Promotions, internal movement, and workforce progression</li>
<li>Turnover analysis (voluntary/involuntary, trends, themes)</li>
<li>Translate raw HR data into clear, actionable insights that help HRBPs operate more efficiently and proactively</li>
<li>Partner with HRBPs to identify reporting needs and continuously improve data outputs based on business questions and priorities</li>
</ul>
Data Integrity and Validation
<ul>
<li>Validate data accuracy across UKG reports, ensuring consistency, completeness, and reliability before distribution</li>
<li>Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, partnering with HR team members as needed to correct upstream data issues</li>
<li>Establish data quality checks and controls to support reliable trend analysis and decision‑making</li>
</ul>
Process and Procedure Development
<ul>
<li>Create and maintain documented procedures for recurring HR reports, data pulls, and analysis processes to ensure consistency and continuity</li>
<li>Standardize reporting methods to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency for the HR Business Partner team</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to automate or streamline reporting workflows within UKG and Excel</li>
</ul>
Analytical Support and Insights
<ul>
<li>Analyze trends and themes in HR data and provide concise summaries that help Business Partners anticipate risks, hotspots, or improvement opportunities</li>
<li>Support leadership and HR team requests with timely, data‑driven analysis that informs workforce planning and employee experience initiatives</li>
<li>Develop meaningful visuals, summaries, and talking points to support HRBP conversations with leaders</li>
</ul>
Tools, Skills and Self-Management
<ul>
<li>Leverage advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, charts) to analyze and present HR data efficiently</li>
<li>Demonstrate strong organization and time‑management skills to manage multiple reporting requests and deadlines</li>
<li>Operate as a self‑starter who takes ownership of data, asks thoughtful questions, and seeks opportunities to add value</li>
<li>Possess a high level of integrity; ability to maintain highly confidential information</li>
<li>Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues</li>
</ul>

<li>Collaborate closely with HR team members to align reporting with HR programs, policies, and operational needs</li>
<li>Serve as extra hands to HR team when needed</li>
</ul>

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of:
<ul>
<li>Human Resources Principles</li>
<li>Database management</li>
<li>UKG (preferred)</li>
</ul>

<li>Operating a computer including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Explorer, database software and various websites</li>

 REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least two years experience in Human Resources as well as a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources or other related degree. Experience in UKG strongly preferred.
