Job description:Job Profile: Purchase AssistantCompany: Endeavour Instrument Private Limited Industry: Manufacturing &amp; Export (Electronic Weighing Scales, Automatic Weighbridges &amp; EOT Cranes) Location: Changodar Ahmedabad Budgeted Salary: Up to ₹35,000 per monthRole ObjectiveTo support the Purchase Department in vendor coordination, order processing, material procurement, and documentation, ensuring cost-effective and timely supply of quality materials required for manufacturing and export operations.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist Purchase Manager in sourcing raw materials, spare parts, and consumables for weighing scales, weighbridges, and cranes.</li><li>Collect and compare quotations from multiple vendors to ensure best rates.</li><li>Prepare purchase orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.</li><li>Maintain records of purchase, pricing, and vendor agreements.</li><li>Coordinate with stores and accounts departments for material inward, GRN, and invoice matching.</li><li>Track inventory levels and raise requisitions as per production requirements.</li><li>Support in vendor registration, vendor evaluation, and supplier performance monitoring.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Graduate (preferably B.Com / BBA / Diploma in Materials Management).</li><li>1&ndash;5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement (preferably in manufacturing industry).</li><li>Knowledge of ERP/Excel for purchase entry &amp; MIS reporting.</li><li>Strong negotiation, follow-up, and communication skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to multitask.</li></ul>Reporting To: Purchase ManagerJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
