ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group is currently hiring. As a Senior or Principal Protection &amp; Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of utility Protection &amp; Control (P&amp;C) engineering design packages that include drawings such as one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, AC/DC Elementary diagrams, circuit schedules, logic diagrams, operating diagrams, and more. This position can be based in any ENERCON office, or remote within the US.</div><div>

Responsibilities:

Your work sits at the intersection of precision and purpose &mdash; where every decision you make and every client you advise moves critical infrastructure forward.</p><ul><li><b>
Design &amp; Engineering:</b> Development of complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communications systems, including one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC schematics, DC schematics, logic and functional diagrams, panel layouts, control house layouts, wiring/connection diagrams, interconnection diagrams, relaying equipment specifications and bill of materials. Development of input / output list (Point Data Sheet)</li><li><b>
Coordination &amp; Collaboration: </b>Coordinate with nuclear power plants Physical Engineering, Relay Settings, and other groups to ensure design concurrence. Participate in client meetings/job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data</li><li><b>
Client &amp; Stakeholder Engagement: </b>Maintain trusted relationships with current or prospective clients. Confidently and comfortably present technical solutions to key customers; respond in real time to technical concerns and answer questions in a knowledgeable articulate manner</li><li><b>
Leadership &amp; Independence:</b> Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to less experienced engineers. Perform assignments independently with instruction as to the general results expected and with guidance from Manager of Engineering and/or Lead Engineer on unusual or complex projects</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer (BSEE) with a power systems focus</li><li>
10+ years of experience with developing complete utility P&amp;C engineering design packages, including AC one-line and three-line diagrams, DC schematics, logic and functional diagrams, panel layouts, interconnection diagrams, relaying equipment specifications and bill of materials</li><li>
Preferred - Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) License and desire to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) License</li><li>
Familiarity with relay protection schemes and relay logic</li><li>
Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD</li><li>
Strong familiarity with NESC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards</li><li>
Must be self-driven in time management to meet deadlines and provide accurate deliverables, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders</li><li>
Must be proficient with typical office software including Microsoft Windows and Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>
Willingness to travel for client site visits and project meetings</li></ul>
Pay Range: USD $120,000.00 - USD $192,000.00 /Yr. Additional Information:
