 Job Summary
 
 
 
 Responsible for fully monitoring the operation of the plant through Distributed Control System (DCS) / Programmable Logic Control (PLC) stations from the central control room. Ensure the safe and efficient execution of Operations &amp; Maintenance tasks in accordance with procedures to achieve production targets while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
 
 
 
 Principle Duties &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Work on starting up, operating, monitoring, and shutting down all production and utility equipment of the plant through the DCS / PLC station
 </li>
 <li>
 Operation and monitoring process equipment ensuring compliance with safety standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor, maintain, and optimize the process within operating parameters to achieve on-spec production targets
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct changing operating conditions to ensure safe operation and troubleshoot any process-related anomalies/upsets for rectification as directed
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with the Client regularly regarding feed volumes and specifications
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate effectively with all site personnel at all times and escalate any abnormality to the O&amp;M Lead, Plant
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervisor / Manager in a prompt manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Support and perform Operations, Mechanical and Instrument jobs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow established O&amp;M instructions
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform troubleshooting to restart compressors after unexpected shutdowns as directed by supervisor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work under the direction of the O&amp;M Lead to maintain safe operation of the plant and work processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain daily production and operating logs, monitor process parameters, and make adjustments when required to ensure the accuracy of data, and compliance with production and HSE requirement
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate activities with maintenance personnel and shift work teams as required
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that field operators perform the daily, weekly, monthly, and scheduled checks for all production/utility equipment as per the developed plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all QHSE standards and procedures (e.g., LOTO, PTW, TBT, JHA) are correctly implemented in the field and documented in the control room
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a site permit coordinator, ensuring compliance with procedural documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Guide and support Field Operators on-site as and when required
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain the plant updated P&amp;IDs, Cause &amp; Effect matrix, Fire &amp; Gas detection system layout, Safety override register, and other essential records in the control room
 </li>
 <li>
 Fulfill the ERT roles and responsibilities assigned by the site management
 </li>
 <li>
 Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
 </li>

 Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager

 Job Skills, Qualifications And Experiences
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum a technical degree in Industrial Processes, Chemical, Petroleum or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 8 years of experience, including 4 year in a similar role within the Oil &amp; Gas sector
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong Familiar with plant equipment, processes, and all ongoing activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, information analysis, and interpersonal skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Good understanding of Plant PFDs, P &amp; IDs, drawings, Cause &amp; Effect matrix, and Fire &amp; Gas detection system philosophy
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of Maintenance Management System (Work orders, Preventive/Corrective/and Predictive Maintenance) methodology
 </li>
 <li>
 Computer proficiency is mandatory. Good working knowledge of typical Microsoft suite of software is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good English commands, written and spoken. Arabic is a plus.
 </li>

 Responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the plant to support production targets. Perform routine operational tasks under supervision, ensuring safety and procedural standards compliance. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain reliable and trouble-free operations.
 
 
 
 Principle Duties &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Assist in operating and monitoring process equipment ensuring compliance with safety standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and record equipment operational parameters in the field, reporting abnormalities to Supervisors or CRO.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support system start-ups and shutdowns as directed by supervisor
 </li>
 <li>
 Support and perform Mechanical and Instrument jobs as directed by supervisor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in pressurizing and depressurizing equipment and pipelines when required

 Regularly check pressure, delta pressure, temperature, and level gauges, reporting irregularities to the CRO.

 Verify that HSE Plan is current and amended when Project activities or conditions change.
 </li>

 Verify compliance with the requirements of the HSE Plan, applicable sub-contractor health and safety plan(s) and Client HSEMS requirements and local regulations.

 Manage the site and interfacing with third parties in a manner consistent with our contract/subcontract agreements and the applicable standard of reasonable care.

 Ensure that HSE programs are effectively functioning to prevent and control hazards on the Project Site.

 Ensure the required HSE staff are available at site, including the HSE personnel requirements from sub-contractors.

 Experience in repairing and operating engines &amp; compressors

 Strong Hands on &amp; troubleshooting experience
