About: 
The Warehouse &amp; Inventory Associate is a crucial role responsible for our warehouse and inventory operations. This includes maintaining optimal inventory levels, organizing the warehouse, processing sales and assisting customers at our parts counter. The ideal candidate will be detail- oriented, customer-focused, and capable of efficiently handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position will provide ongoing support for the West Chester PA warehouse and additional / back up support for the Exton PA warehouse as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular counts and adjustments.</li><li>
Set and monitor reorder levels to prevent stockouts.</li><li>
Enter new SKUs into the inventory management software accurately.</li><li>
Ensure timely and accurate restocking of shelves.</li><li>
Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency and safety.</li><li>
Label shelves and bins clearly to ensure easy location of parts.</li><li>
Implement and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.</li><li>
Greet and assist walk-in customers at the parts counter.</li><li>
Help customers identify the correct HVAC parts they need.</li><li>
Provide accurate pricing quotes for parts and process sales transactions.</li></ul><ul><li>
Offer complete repair recommendations to improve customer satisfaction and increase average order volume.</li><li>
Receive new deliveries and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments.</li><li>
Communicate the receipt of new deliveries to the appropriate departments promptly.</li><li>
Prepare and pack parts for shipping as needed.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with the sales team regarding inventory status and customer needs.</li><li>
Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies in orders or deliveries.</li><li>
Keep management informed of any inventory issues or improvements needed.</li><li>
Assist with periodic physical inventory audits.</li></ul>
Experience and Requirements:<ul><li>
One (1) year of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role; HVAC warehouse experience is a plus.</li><li>
Must have high school diploma / GED. Associates degree strongly preferred.</li><li>
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.</li><li>
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to read and interpret complex documents.</li><li>
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.</li><li>
Self-starter, ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities</li><li>
Forklift certification is a plus.</li></ul>
Physical Demands/Work Environment:<ul><li>
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in a warehouse setting.</li><li>
Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer.</li><li>
The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.</li><li>
Must be able to do the following:</li><li>
Climbing &ndash; ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps</li><li>
Balancing &ndash; may be required to maintain equilibrium on unsteady surfaces</li><li>
Stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling to reach equipment</li><li>
Pushing, pulling and lifting components or equipment</li><li>
May be required to work in all weather conditions</li><li>
May be exposed to different atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, gases, etc.</li><li>
Must be able occasionally to lift up to 80 pounds.</li><li>
Must be able to operate safely equipment in warehouse such as a pallet jack</li></ul>
