What you will do:<br>

Data Analysis &amp; Cost Management: Collect and analyze daily operational costs. Establish standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead. Compare standard and actual costs to identify discrepancies.<br>

Reporting &amp; Insights: Prepare variance analysis reports (PPV, material revaluation, labor efficiency, exchange rate variances). PPV Analysis Provide insights to stakeholders on variances. Assist in month-end closures and account reconciliations.<br>

Collaboration &amp; Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cost-related information. Recommend cost-saving measures and process improvements. Calculate overhead rates for direct and indirect costs in manufacturing and trading. Distribute indirect costs (utilities, maintenance, depreciation) to products.<br>

Inventory &amp; Audits: Lead year-end cost rollup activities, including transfer prices and revaluation impact. Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and ensure accurate records. Report to top management on sales vs. plan, inventory analysis, and expense trends.<br>

Budgeting &amp; Forecasting: Assist in creating annual budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast.<br>

Compliance &amp; Audits: Act as key contact for external auditors and finalize statutory financial statements. Work with local and regional management to include necessary information in financial statements.<br>

Summary &ndash; basic function of the role</b></p><p>
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role is centered around supporting Qatar&rsquo;s expanding pipeline of new projects, one of our key growth markets. The position is highly field-based, working closely with EPCs and subcontractors across greenfield and new-build environments. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on being out of the office, spending time on customer sites, developing new relationships, and driving sales through consistent, hands-on engagement.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Key function:</b><br>
To develop new customers within the designated territory, ensuring regional growth targets are achieved through strong communication skills, commercial drive, and customer-facing activity. As the role involves regular collaboration across regions, strong English communication skills are essential.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Job Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
As key contact initiate, develop and build professional relationship with end-users and new sales opportunities in the area of responsibility</li><li>
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into profitable incremental turnover</li><li>
Prepare and manage professional quotations, active follow-up and successful conversion into orders</li><li>
Liaise between Application Engineer/Specialist to solve applications/needs using standard and/or custom designed products</li><li>
Cooperate well with all local and regional colleagues to develop and implement global, regional and local strategies within the region that will result in exceeding the annual financial targets</li><li>
Able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations</li><li>
Site work may be required in occasions</li><li>
Present proper prepared orders to Customer Service for processing</li><li>
Promote all products, services and systems by organizing and executing distributor/customer activities, such as presentations, seminars and training sessions</li><li>
Specify products, services and solutions at end-users</li><li>
Report to the Account Manager &amp; Commercial Director on all commercial activities within the territory, complaints, trends, competitive actions and any recommendations to improve sales results and productivity</li><li>
Ensure all HSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the Organization. Proactively participate to safety awareness and improvement</li><li>
Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally. Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures. Education and Experience</b></p><ul><li>
Relevant Technical Degree (BSc) or Commercial Degree</li><li>
Technical affinity and understanding of industrial markets are required</li><li>
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience and well developed presentation- and commercial negotiation skills are needed</li><li>
Languages: English - essential fluent oral &amp; written, other languages are benefit</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills, works and communicates well with internal colleagues and external customers</li><li>
Energetic and proactive initiator; must present a professional and articulate image</li><li>
Able to work to deadlines; excellent organizational skills</li><li>
Works well with minimal supervision; self-discipline and motivation</li><li>
Good working knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); knowledge of a CRM package is beneficial</li><li>
Effective and efficient traveling of at least 60-80% within the allocated region (occasional outside of the designated region) is required</li><li>
