<ul><li>Control and monitor all project materials including bulk materials, piping, valves, structural steel, electrical and instrumentation items</li><li>Ensure materials are available at site as per construction priorities and project schedule</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records in systems.</li><li>Track material receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.</li><li>Prevent material shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence</li><li>Coordinate closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, and Logistics teams.</li><li>Support material requirement planning based on drawings and construction schedules.</li><li>Liaise with subcontractors for material allocation and control.</li><li>Participate in weekly material status and coordination meetings.</li><li>Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and packing lists</li><li>Coordinate with QA/QC for material inspection and release</li><li>Ensure proper storage, preservation, and identification of materials as per project and vendor requirements</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material status reports</li><li>Assist in material reconciliation and close-out at project completion</li><li>Promote safe material handling and storage practices</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;10 years experience in material control for Oil &amp; Gas projects</li><li>Previous experience in Ras Laffan or QatarEnergy projects is highly preferred</li><li>Knowledge of LNG project requirements is an advantage.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time

Material Controller

&middot; Control and monitor daily/weekly/monthly consumption of operational and maintenance consumables&middot; Manage consumables such as:o PPE (helmets, gloves, coveralls, safety shoes)o Welding rods &amp; gaseso Lubricants, oils, chemicalso Bolts, nuts, gaskets, sealso Cleaning materials &amp; hand tools&middot; Ensure minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained&middot; Maintain accurate stock records in systems.&middot; Conduct physical stock counts, cycle counts, and audits&middot; Investigate and report stock variances, losses, or damages&middot; Ensure proper storage, labeling, and segregation of consumables&middot; Raise Material Requisition (MR) and coordinate with procurement&middot; Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times&middot; Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and HSE teams for requirements&middot; Support shutdowns and turnarounds with bulk consumables planning&middot; Monitor consumption trends and identify abnormal usage&middot; Recommend cost-saving initiatives and alternatives&middot; Prepare monthly consumption and cost reports&middot; Ensure compliance with HSE standards for handling and storageQualifications &amp; ExperienceEducation<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in:</li><li>Supply Chain</li><li>Logistics</li><li>Mechanical / Industrial Engineering</li><li>Business Administration (preferred)</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>3&ndash;7 years&rsquo; experience in Oil &amp; Gas / LNG / Petrochemical industry</li><li>Prior experience in Ras Laffan or Qatar Energy projects is a strong advantage</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
