We&rsquo;re Hiring &ndash; QA/QC Engineer at Engineering Construction &amp; Erection Co LLC!Location: Nizwa, OmanPosition: Quality Control / NDT Engineer &ndash; Structural Steel FabricationMinimum Experience: +4 years in steel fabrication .Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)Certifications: ASNT Level II in UT / MT / PT / RT / VTKey Skills Required:Proven experience in Structural Steel Dimensional InspectionStrong knowledge of fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and QC proceduresAwareness and working knowledge of relevant standards such as:AWS D1.1, ASTM, ASME, ISO, and project-specific QC requirementsExperience preparing:Inspection &amp; Test Reports (ITR)Daily Fabrication &amp; Welding Inspection ReportsNon-Conformance Reports (NCR)Corrective &amp; Preventive Actions (CAPA)Ability to use measuring tools (vernier, height gauge, micrometer, etc.)Familiar with steel fabrication processes (cutting, welding, assembly, fit-up, final inspection)Roles &amp; Responsibilities:Raw material inspection and documentationPerform dimensional inspection of steel structures as per approved drawings &amp; tolerancesConduct NDT as per ASNT Level II techniquesEnsure compliance with project specifications &amp; international standardsMonitor welding, fit-up, and finishing activitiesCoordinate with production, engineering, and client inspectorsPrepare detailed inspection reports and documentationSend your CV with the subject: QA/QC FABJob Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Muscat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Steel industry QA/QC: 4 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>100% (Required)</li></ul>
