We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical engineering function. The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in industrial manufacturing and fabrication, demonstrating strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to mentor engineering teams.Key Responsibilities Engineering Leadership<ul><li>Lead the electrical engineering department and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.</li><li>Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.</li><li>Ensure compliance with client specifications, project requirements, and international electrical standards.</li><li>Develop engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.</li></ul>Project Management<ul><li>Plan, execute, monitor, and control electrical engineering activities across multiple projects.</li><li>Coordinate with project management, production, procurement, QA/QC, and clients to ensure successful project execution.</li><li>Monitor project schedules, budgets, manpower allocation, and engineering deliverables.</li><li>Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.</li></ul>Manufacturing &amp; Production Support<ul><li>Provide engineering support to manufacturing and fabrication operations.</li><li>Review production challenges and implement engineering solutions.</li><li>Ensure electrical assemblies and fabricated systems meet approved designs and quality standards.</li><li>Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.</li></ul>Technical Oversight<ul><li>Oversee electrical power distribution, MCCs, LV systems, switchgear, control panels, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and automation systems.</li><li>Lead troubleshooting of complex electrical and control system failures.</li><li>Review and approve technical submittals, vendor documentation, and material specifications.</li><li>Evaluate and approve technical deviations where necessary.</li></ul>Procurement &amp; Vendor Management<ul><li>Support procurement in vendor evaluation and technical bid analysis.</li><li>Review and approve electrical material specifications and purchase requisitions.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers to resolve technical issues.</li></ul>Commissioning &amp; Client Support<ul><li>Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.</li><li>Attend client meetings and provide technical presentations.</li><li>Resolve engineering-related client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.</li></ul>Quality, HSE &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure full compliance with IEC, IEEE, local electrical regulations, ISO standards, and company procedures.</li><li>Support internal and external audits.</li><li>Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.</li></ul>People Management<ul><li>Mentor, train, and develop engineering staff.</li><li>Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.</li><li>Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.</li><li>Foster collaboration between engineering, production, and project teams.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's Degree is an advantage).</li><li>Minimum 8&ndash;12 years of relevant experience in industrial manufacturing, fabrication, EPC, or heavy engineering industries.</li><li>At least 3&ndash;5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.</li><li>Professional engineering certification or registration is an advantage.</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Expertise in industrial electrical systems and power distribution.</li><li>Strong knowledge of MCCs, LV systems, transformers, switchgear, PLCs, SCADA, VFDs, and instrumentation.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical engineering software.</li><li>Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC, and local electrical regulations.</li><li>Strong project planning, budgeting, and resource management skills.</li><li>Experience with technical proposal preparation and cost estimation.</li></ul>Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
