At Eni , we are looking for a Junior Drilling Engineer to join Eni Abu Dhabi . You will develop well designs and layouts that optimise investment and uphold the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety and environmental protection. You will also draft the drilling plan and support its execution by providing engineering advice and updating the well design and execution plans as required.

Main responsibilities:
<ul><li>Prepare well data sheets.
</li><li>Design and select wellhead equipment.
</li><li>Draw up drilling programmes.
</li><li>Obtain relevant data, carry out on-site analysis, and recommend immediate actions as necessary.
</li><li>Conduct full engineering analyses of rig-site data and prepare regular well reports.
</li><li>Monitor the daily progress of well operations and daily costs, compare actual costs with expenditure proposals, and recommend changes or improvements to rig work techniques.
</li><li>Liaise with specialist contractors and suppliers, such as cement companies and drilling fluid providers.
</li><li>Monitor safety and ensure the proper maintenance of the well.
</li><li>Establish and administer drilling and service contracts.
</li><li>Coordinate and supervise the work of the drilling team.
</li><li>Undertake engineering design and well planning (including development work).
</li><li>Work with multidisciplinary professionals to evaluate the commercial viability of the well and monitor progress during drilling.
</li></ul>Skills and experience required:
Qualifications &amp; Experience:
<ul><li>Engineering or science degree.
</li><li>Significant Oil &amp; Gas drilling experience.
</li><li>Relevant well‑site experience as a Drilling Supervisor or Well Site Engineer.
</li></ul>Professional Certifications:
<ul><li>Certification in drilling engineering technologies is required.
</li></ul>Training and Courses:
<ul><li>Specialised training in drilling engineering and HSE.
</li><li>Landmark Drilling Suite, including WellCost.
</li><li>Peloton WellView software for reporting.
</li><li>Risk management in drilling operations.
</li><li>Management of Change in drilling operations.
</li></ul>Required Competencies:
<ul><li>Drilling Activities: Drilling operations, mudline suspension, horizontal drilling, drilling fluids and cement operations design, general well‑drilling experience.
</li><li>Advanced Drilling: Lean profile, underbalanced drilling, coiled‑tubing drilling.
</li><li>High‑Profile Drilling: Extended‑reach drilling, HP/HT drilling, simultaneous drilling, wellbore stability/sand production/prediction control.
</li><li>Data management and computer literacy.
</li><li>Competencies in completion and production optimisation engineering will be considered a preferential requirement.
</li><li>Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, with frequent interaction across project disciplines and external institutions.
</li><li>High level of professional and personal integrity.
</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills.

You will be responsible for applying best practices in the management of offices and their facilities, maintenance, personnel accommodation, personnel transportation, resource conservation, general services and HR contracts and hotel bookings, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently in compliance with company policies. You will also support cost control and SAP administration activities related to general service contracts.

Main responsibilities:
<ul><li>Contribute to the planning and budgeting of general services and transportation activities, in line with company programmes.
</li><li>Manage operating activities related to general services, including office layout management, office maintenance, supplies monitoring, and pantry/tearoom services.
</li><li>Coordinate the research, arrangement, and administration of housing for company personnel.
</li><li>Handle hotel bookings and negotiate competitive corporate rates.
</li><li>Oversee the maintenance of company infrastructures (office buildings, archives, housing) and their equipment, supervising external contractors and ensuring compliance with defined cost and quality standards.
</li><li>Assist in the organisation and supervision of corporate events and catering services.
</li><li>Report on, follow up, coordinate, and analyse the conditions and terms of all general services&ndash;related contracts - including lease contracts for accommodations, cars, and offices, as well as serviced office agreements - in accordance with Eni policies.
</li><li>Provide the Human Resources department with accurate and timely cost reports, verifying cost performance against plan.
</li><li>Manage SAP activities related to General Service Contracts (call‑offs, service entries, accruals).
</li><li>Deliver full and dedicated operational support to the General Services department across all activities.
</li></ul>Skills and experience required:
<ul><li>Education in Management, Finance or Marketing.
</li><li>Significant experience in a related field.
</li><li>Fluency in written and spoken English; basic Italian and Arabic are an advantage.
