At Eni , we are looking for a Technical Safety Engineer within EniProgetti Egypt Ltd. in Cairo . You will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of the Technical Safety Department by providing specialised expertise in technical safety engineering. This role is key to strengthening the department&rsquo;s capabilities, ensuring the right balance of experience and knowledge within the team and contributing to the transition of leadership to a local resource.
Main responsibilities :
<ul><li>Perform safety and risk analyses to support project development.
</li><li>Carry out design and analysis activities, ensuring the preparation of the necessary deliverables for onshore and offshore plants.
</li><li>Verify and ensure the application of HSE philosophies and the implementation of design criteria during project development, as well as support the corporate group in the development of new projects.
</li><li>Adhere to all national Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) laws and strictly follow the company&rsquo;s corporate HSE policy and safety system. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all subordinates and verify their compliance with established safety and labour protection rules and regulations.
</li></ul>Skills and experience required :
<ul><li>University degree.
</li><li>Relevant experience.
</li><li>The candidate shall act as a Technical Safety Engineer on projects:
</li><li>Following the HSE project philosophy to correctly implement engineering criteria.
</li><li>Executing technical safety analyses in support of project development.
</li><li>Performing design and analysis activities and issuing all necessary deliverables related to onshore/offshore production facilities, ensuring that project objectives, industry standards, and safety best practices are met.
</li><li>Being familiar with working with Safety and Phast software.
</li><li>Actively participating in technical safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL.
</li><li>The ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team, both within the Safety Systems Group and with other engineering departments on a project, is considered essential.

You will be responsible for leveraging your extensive experience to guide and mentor junior engineers, while independently managing multiple concurrent projects and initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the highest standards of execution and foster a culture of growth, collaboration and accountability within the engineering team.
Main responsibilities :
<ul><li>Act as project coordinator, ensuring smooth collaboration across teams.
</li><li>Serve as project team coordinator, driving alignment and progress.
</li><li>Finalise assigned tasks within agreed timescales, maintaining high standards of quality in documentation and deliverables.
</li><li>Provide support in planning activities, contributing to accurate scheduling and resource allocation.

</li><li>Ability to conduct and validate optimisation studies and calculation analyses and prepare related reports.
</li><li>Ability to compile and check data sheets for equipment and instrumentation.
</li><li>For areas within your responsibility: Develop and review specifications for the purchase of equipment and/or services; Prepare and review technical opinions during the tender phase.
</li><li>For areas within your responsibility: Follow up on documentation issued by suppliers to finalise and optimise detailed engineering.
</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of all project execution phases and related technical content.
</li><li>Coordination and management skills for leading the process team assigned to the project.
</li><li>Ability to interface effectively with other technical disciplines in an organised and collaborative manner.
</li><li>Ability to perform budgeting activities, including document lists, estimating man-hours, and execution timelines.
</li><li>Knowledge and application of international codes and standards for engineering activities.
</li><li>Proficiency in IT tools for process simulations.
</li><li>Proven experience in: Developing and reviewing specifications, data sheets and calculation reports.
</li><li>Proven experience in Field engineering activities during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases of systems.

You will be responsible for bringing critical expertise in static equipment to strengthen our Mechanical Department. As part of this role, you will ensure in-house capability for activities currently managed through external contractors, contributing to the growth and autonomy of the department. Your work will support the Department Leader and senior specialists in delivering high-quality engineering solutions and expanding the team&rsquo;s technical capacity.
Main responsibilities :
<ul><li>Coordinate and ensure proper execution and reporting of projects.
</li><li>Prepare, verify and issue mechanical documents (static and machinery) across various engineering phases.
</li><li>Adhere to all national Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) laws and strictly follow the company&rsquo;s corporate HSE policy and safety system.
