 Job Summary
 
 
 
 We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Associate to join our R&amp;D-focused company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure the seamless fulfillment of the engineering team&rsquo;s requirements. You will collaborate closely with vendors, track shipments and maintain optimal stock levels to support ongoing research and development projects. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge innovation through efficient supply chain operations.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the engineering team to understand and fulfill their material and equipment requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Research and learn simultaneously on the new materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to procure materials, tools, and equipment required for R&amp;D activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand the market trends in terms of material pricing for counter negotiations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and quality assurance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels for engineering tools, materials, and consumables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate record-keeping.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide timely updates on order status and expected delivery timelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with transport providers for timely and secure delivery of equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Resolve any shipping delays or issues in a prompt manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain comprehensive records of purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and inventory levels.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Educational Requirements:
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering will be preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 Candidates with MBA in Supply Chain and Logistics Management will be an added advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience:
 </li>
 <li>
 0&ndash;1 year of experience in relevant industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 1-3 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management
 </li>
 <li>
 Internship experience in supply chain is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Skills and Competencies:
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management tools/software.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analytical mindset with attention to detail for accurate tracking and reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hunger to learn and adapt in a fast-paced R&amp;D environment.
 </li>
