Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This position requires a strong foundation in quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and supplier management. The Supplier Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement quality assurance processes for supplier evaluation and selection.</li><li>Conduct audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949:2016, and other relevant standards.</li><li>Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve quality issues within the supply chain.</li><li>Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions and preventive measures based on findings from audits and inspections.</li><li>Manage the approval process for new suppliers through APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).</li><li>Analyze data using Minitab to monitor supplier performance metrics and drive improvements.</li><li>Ensure adherence to FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) in all supplier-related activities.</li><li>Engage in lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize processes within the supply chain.</li><li>Provide mechanical knowledge support during sourcing and assembly processes to enhance product quality.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or quality management within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Familiarity with GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and process engineering methodologies.</li><li>Experience with ISO 9001 standards is advantageous.</li><li>Proficiency in using AS400 or similar systems for managing supplier data is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and sourcing departments.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement practices.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $50.00 per hourWork Location: In person
