Program Summary 
This program drives innovation across the Intelligence Community by fusing data, analytics, and modern software engineering into a next-generation mission platform. The team is developing cloud-based applications, advanced automation, and scalable microservice architectures that redefine how mission data is integrated and acted upon. Engineers on this effort are empowered to experiment, design, and deliver solutions that directly impact national security&mdash;advancing speed, accuracy, and insight across complex intelligence workflows. 
Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead full-stack software development of enterprise applications supporting intelligence missions.</li><li>
Design and implement secure, scalable microservices in AWS GovCloud or C2S environments.</li><li>
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, lead peer reviews, and ensure code quality.</li><li>
Build and deploy containerized applications using DevSecOps pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code.</li><li>
Collaborate with analysts, UI/UX designers, and product owners to ensure successful delivery.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with IC cybersecurity and accreditation standards (RMF, STIGs).</li><li>
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives across development teams.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree and 8&ndash;12 years of experience, or Master's with 6&ndash;10 years.</li><li>
Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.</li><li>
Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Django, or Flask.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and AWS cloud environments.</li><li>
Familiarity with DevSecOps tools including GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and SonarQube.</li><li>
Strong understanding of Agile development and secure software lifecycle principles.</li><li>
U.S. citizenship required.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
AWS, CISSP, or SAFe certification.</li><li>
Experience with GEOINT data formats and IC enterprise environments.</li><li>
Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Terraform, or multi-cloud architectures.</li><li>
Familiarity with container orchestration and automated deployment frameworks.</li></ul>
Target Salary Range: $140,000 &ndash; $170,000

This mission brings together elite engineers, analysts, and data scientists to redefine how the Intelligence Community leverages data and AI. The team is building advanced analytics and machine learning pipelines that extract insight from petabytes of multi-source data&mdash;enabling near real-time situational awareness and predictive intelligence. From cloud-scale data orchestration to deploying neural models at the edge, this is a high-impact environment where experimentation drives transformation. Data Scientists on this program are at the forefront of innovation&mdash;shaping algorithms, automating intelligence workflows, and creating the analytical frameworks that power tomorrow's national security decisions. 
Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models for geospatial and intelligence data.</li><li>
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and feature stores supporting analytics and visualization applications.</li><li>
Perform advanced data analysis, modeling, and predictive analytics to solve mission-critical problems.</li><li>
Collaborate with software engineers, systems architects, and analysts to operationalize models within secure cloud environments.</li><li>
Develop and optimize machine learning workflows using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and containerized environments.</li><li>
Apply modern data engineering practices such as automated ETL, MLOps, and distributed training.</li><li>
Communicate technical findings to mission stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and visual analytics.</li><li>
Lead innovation initiatives focused on algorithm improvement, data quality, and emerging technology integration.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline and 12&ndash;15 years of experience, or Master's with 10&ndash;13 years.</li><li>
10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics.</li><li>
Expertise in Python, R, or similar languages for data processing and model development.</li><li>
Strong experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn for AI/ML implementation.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or C2S).</li><li>
Knowledge of distributed data processing systems such as Spark or Hadoop.</li><li>
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Plotly).</li><li>
U.S. citizenship required.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Experience with GEOINT or intelligence community data sources.</li><li>
AWS Machine Learning Specialty or equivalent certification.</li><li>
Experience deploying containerized models using Docker or Kubernetes.</li><li>
Proficiency in MLOps, including CI/CD for ML pipelines and model monitoring.</li><li>
Understanding of deep learning, NLP, or computer vision applied to mission data.</li></ul>
Target Salary Range: $170,000 &ndash; $215,000
