<div></div><div><b>Duties</b></div>
<ul><li>Perform insurance program administrative support, such as responding to requests for Certificates of Insurance and processing policy changes</li>
<li>Prepare and organize business records, such as personnel files and medical records, for use and production in legal matters</li>
<li>Support workers&rsquo; compensation resource personnel with administrative tasks</li>
<li>Process Legal &amp; Risk Management Department invoices for payment</li>
<li>Keep cases up to date by establishing and maintaining electronic files; monitoring and meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into case management software; and confirming case status with attorneys.</li>
<li>Perform discovery support to in-house counsel including outreach to health care operations to collect case information and documents, working with other Service Center Departments to obtain information and data relevant to litigation, preparation/organization of materials for use and production, and assistance with drafting of written discovery requests/responses.</li>
<li>Assist with claims and litigation management, including using claims management software to track and report on litigation trends and expenses.</li>
<li>Support in-house counsel relative to risk, regulatory and litigation activities, including preparation of educational materials for field training.</li>
<li>Other tasks and duties as assigned and as related to the operation of the Legal &amp; Risk Management Department.</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Preferred Experience/Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>College degree (AA or better) and a Paralegal certificate</li>
<li>Five (5) plus years&rsquo; experience as a litigation paralegal</li>
<li>Prior discovery support experience</li>
<li>Health care experience or knowledge preferred, but not mandatory</li>
<li>Insurance administration experience or knowledge preferred, but not mandatory</li>
<li>MS Outlook, Work, Excel and Power Point skills</li>
<li>Familiarity with Legal Tracker system and Point Click Care EMR system a plus</li>
<li>Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills</li>

<ul><li>Regularly communicate with leaders to understand the human resources needs of assigned markets.</li>
