Entarian is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Ordnance Information System (OIS) program based in Mechanicsburg, PA. Cloud DevSecOps Administrators / Engineers at Sev1Tech are solution-oriented, driven, and enjoy teaming with other best and brightest engineers on highly visible, technically challenging projects and offerings. We&rsquo;re looking for high-caliber, well-rounded professionals who are passionate about emerging technology, projects, and consulting, and have a strong background in Unix, Windows, Cloud, and DevSecOps administration and automation.</div><div></div><div><br>
As Cloud Engineer, you will provide technical support for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex cloud applications to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessments.</div><div></div><div><br>
The Cloud Engineer plays a key role in the Cloud/DevSecOps team with primary focus on the assigned portfolio. You will work closely with the customer Product Owner on the program and assist in development of system engineering documentation for the portfolio applications, such as system requirements, capabilities, and interface control documents, using GitLab Ultimate, Azure DevOps and other Collaboration and Architecture Tools.</div><div></div><div><b><i><br>
Primary Responsibilities:</i></b></div><ul><li>
Serve as the Cloud Engineer providing engineering expertise and guidance for the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of IT solutions that enhance overall system performance and availability.</li><li>
Act as primary liaison between NAVSUP OIS customer and third-party cloud broker (NAVAIR) in operational maintenance of the NAVSUP OIS Cloud architecture and ecosystem, to include access, cost estimation, service requests, and new resource requests</li><li>
Assists in development of agile methodology (SAFe, Scrum, Scrum of Scrums, Kanban, DevSecOps). This includes backlog structure and management, governance/change control, and other key processes that lead the execution at the portfolio level.</li><li>
Conduct engineering system development tasks including system requirements analysis, system architecture and design, preliminary design, critical design, system integration, formal verification, and formal validation.</li><li>
Perform Requirements Analysis Engineering and other system engineering practices.</li><li>
Produce technical documentation in support of engineering solutions that include, but are not limited to, architectural drawings, detailed design specifications, and thorough implementation instructions</li><li>
Assist with operational, technical tool standardization, maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, and system and services views for architectures using applicable Navy set security standards.</li><li>
Maintain standards compliance</li><li>
Guide and assist DevOps/DevSecOps teams with pipeline best practices and tool selection</li><li>
Develops, updates, and maintains program of record documentation.</li><li>
Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure</li><li>
Assist with the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software and system management tools</li><li>
Pro-actively ensures the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability</li><li>
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes</li><li>
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies</li><li>
Guide and assist team in writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li><b>Must have DOD Top Secret level clearance to start; U.S. Citizen required only for Federal Clearance Requirement
</b></li><li><b>Certification Requirement: Directive 8570.1/8140 - IAT II:</b><ul><li>
Baseline Certification:<b> Security+</b></li><li>
Computing Environment Certification:<b> AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect or similar equivalent Cloud environment certification </b>(if not in hand, must be obtained within 3 months of on-boarding)</li></ul></li><li>
BA/BS or equivalent experience and 2+ years of prior relevant experience engineering and architecting enterprise IT solutions</li><li>
Have a broad technical background spanning many of the technical areas supported by the program.</li><li>
The ability to clearly articulate technical messages for a variety of audiences, both through written and verbal means, will be a critical skill necessary for the success in this position.</li><li>
Understanding and experience programming and designing software using Terraform, Ansible, Java, J2EE, Oracle, WebLogic, Tomcat and AWS cloud services, etc.</li><li>
Experience with modern development software, tools, and methodologies such as Jenkins, GitLab Ultimate, Jira, Nexus, Maven, OpenShift, SonarQube, Fortify, Junit, Karma, Selenium, Cyprus, Docker, Artifactory</li><li>
Experience with systems engineering, including requirements analysis and system architecture design</li><li>
Strong verbal and written technical communication skills</li><li>
Ability to liaise with government, vendors, and other IT personnel for problem resolution</li></ul>
Desired Qualifications:
<ul><li>Demonstrated experience in network and cyber security design, engineering, and operations with emphasis on Navy capabilities</li><li>
Demonstrated experience developing models using Sparx EA, Splunk, MuleSoft, SalesForce</li><li>
Experience with NIST SP 800 series or ISO 27000 series documents for information security management and risk assessment</li><li>
Experience with Angular, ReactJS, Spring MVC, JQuery, JSF, JSP, MyBatis, Hibernate, IBM MQ, Kafka, ELK, or PLSQL</li><li>
Demonstrated experience with server virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, or Hyper-V</li><li>
Demonstrated experience with operating systems such as RedHat Linux and Windows Server</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in ITIL, ISO20000 / ISO27001 implementations</li><li>
At least one nationally recognized vendor certification</li><li>

Sev1Tech is looking for a Data Engineer for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Ordnance Information System (OIS) to provide technical expertise on a mission-critical program whose purpose is to develop, modernize, enhance, operate, and maintain services for OIS mission critical systems.</p><p><br>
</p><p>As Data Engineer you will work on a team consisting of Data and Cloud Architects, Engineers, and Administrators and focus on designing, building, deploying, and maintaining data architectures and databases in the AWS GovCloud environment.</p><p></p><p><i><br>
This position is </i><b><i>on-site</i></b><i> in a secured space 5 days/week and can be filled in either Mechanicsburg, PA, </i><b><i>OR</i></b><i> Yorktown, VA.</i></p><div></div><div><b><br>
Primary Responsibilities:</b></div><p>
The Data Engineer will be responsible for the following:</p><ul><li>
Develop, construct, test, and maintain high performance, scalable, and stable data architectures for OIS, such as databases and large-scale processing systems, and migrate data from on-premises databases to cloud-based solutions, transforming the data as required.</li><li>
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations, ensure that data pipelines are scalable, repeatable, and secure.</li><li>
Implement and manage databases and data delivery systems and transform them into insights, analysis, and reporting.</li><li>
Identify, research, design, develop, and promote solutions that enhance the modern development environment to ensure systems meet business requirements and industry best practices.</li><li>
Implement the data extraction, data load, and database synchronization routines and functions ETL.</li><li>
Implement data governance and quality controls and monitor ETL/ELT jobs to ensure performance and halt any potential issues.</li><li>
Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements and ensure all data platform solutions adhere to confidentiality and privacy requirements.</li><li>
Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that the data infrastructure supports required functions and performance metrics.</li><li>
Design, model, document, and guide the logical and conceptual relationship of data and database changes.</li><li>
Document data architecture and systems for both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessments.</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li><b>Must have DOD Secret level clearance (fully adjudicated T3 background check) to start and be able to pass a T5/Top Secret background check (U.S. Citizen required only for Federal Clearance Requirement)</b></li><li>

Proficiency in SQL and experience with other querying languages.</li><li>
Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and database optimization.</li><li>
Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently with little supervision.</li></ul>
