Position Summary
Support Engineers (IT Support Specialists) are responsible for providing support on Tier 1 and Tier 2 incoming reactive and proactive service requests. Work performed for this role will take place both onsite and remotely from Entech&rsquo;s Service Desk, and potentially at one of our locations with augmented staff. Support Engineers will work independently and as part of a team to answer service desk calls, urgently analyze technical issues, troubleshoot over the phone / onsite / via remote access and escalate problems when appropriate. Support Engineers will be responsible for a healthy ticket queue, entering time and notes into tickets as it occurs, managing their daily schedule and overall board management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Identify, troubleshoot, and document user issues to resolution, while maintaining superior customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Work with end users to resolve reactive support requests. These issues will be related to Windows servers and desktops, Microsoft cloud services including Microsoft 365 and Azure, firewalls, managed switches, and LAN/WAN connectivity issues.</li>
<li>Work to resolve proactive alerts and monitors generated by the NOC. These issues will be related to backups, viruses, impending hardware failures, licensing issues and more.</li>
<li>Manage your daily ticket queues and schedule to ensure all assigned tickets are resolved and responded to within preapproved targets.</li>
<li>Communicate with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.</li>
<li>Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate the scope of work for all hourly clients.</li>
<li>Work in a team and communicate effectively.</li>
<li>Escalate service or project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels.</li>
</ul>Required Technical Skills

</ul>Required Skills and Abilities
<ul><li>Comprehensive knowledge of information systems technology subjects and extensive knowledge of hardware and software with the ability to keep abreast of new technologies.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively in English.</li>
<li>Ability to perform basic math computations.</li>
<li>Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.</li>

</ul>Education and Experience
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED (Two years college or equivalent work experience preferred).</li>

IT Support Specialist

Position Summary
The Depot &amp; Deployment Engineer is responsible for the configuration, staging, deployment, and support of end-user technology and network infrastructure for Entech partners. This role prepares and repairs computers, laptops, printers, and related hardware in the depot, manages inventory and asset tracking, and performs onsite deployments to ensure a seamless partner experience. The Depot &amp; Deployment Engineer also assists with network equipment configuration, including loading and validating configurations on firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure.

Additional Responsibilities
<ul><li>Configure, stage, deploy, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and related technology equipment.</li>
<li>Prepare hardware to partner specifications and Entech standards.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including component failures and performance concerns.</li>
<li>Deploy and install equipment onsite, including user setup, profile migrations, and hardware replacements.</li>
<li>Configure and deploy network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.</li>
<li>Manage hardware inventory, shipping, receiving, asset tracking, and stock levels.</li>
<li>Maintain an organized, secure, and efficient depot environment.</li>
<li>Document configurations, deployments, and asset information in ConnectWise.</li>
</ul>Skills &amp; Abilities
<ul><li>Strong knowledge of desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral hardware.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environments.</li>
<li>Understanding of TCP/IP networking, switching, wireless networking, and firewall fundamentals.</li>
<li>Ability to perform basic network troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Ability to configure, stage, and deploy endpoint and network infrastructure equipment.</li>
</ul>Education
<ul><li>Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field preferred.</li>
<li>Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant work experience may be considered.</li>

Experience
<ul><li>2+ years of experience configuring, deploying, repairing, and supporting computer hardware in a business environment.</li>
<li>Experience imaging, configuring, and deploying Windows workstations and laptops.</li>
<li>Experience with hardware troubleshooting, component replacement, and warranty repairs.</li>
<li>Experience deploying and configuring network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.</li>
<li>Experience loading and validating configuration files on network devices.</li>
<li>Experience working with inventory management, asset tracking, and equipment staging.</li>
<li>Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment preferred.</li>
<li>Experience working directly with end users and business clients during onsite deployments.</li>
