Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a <i>Mold Designer </i>to join our team.</div><div>
The Mold Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and designing injection molds, derivative injection mold components and various production / product fixtures. This position requires a proven ability to develop tool (injection mold) designs that support the product development efforts of the Entegris Design Engineering teams.</div><div></div><div>
HOURS OF THE POSITION ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY DAY SHIFT</div><div></div><div>
What You'll Do:</div><div></div><ul><li><div>
Works independently with conducting analysis of problems and resolving technical issues and making decisions.</div></li><li><div>
Manages and executes tool design projects, working with the Tooling Project Manager and Product Design Engineers.</div></li><li><div>
Applies tool designing skills, creativity, concept sketching, brainstorming, and aesthetics recommendations in a collaborative, professional environment.</div></li><li><div>
Leads tool design review meetings attended by internal customers and tooling vendors.</div></li><li><div>
Provides both basic and innovative design solutions on projects (depending upon application) that fall in the Entegris definitions of derivative and platform product development.</div></li><li><div>
Reliably applies his / her tool design skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment appropriate to workload and applications need.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
What We Seek:</div><div></div><ul><li><div>
Machine Tool Technology or Mechanical Drafting AAS Degree and/or two years of Pro/ENGINEER and/or SolidWorks part modeling, assembly and drafting experience.</div></li><li><div>
Knowledge of and skill in executing tasks in Creo and/or SolidWorks, CAD-CAM software: solid modeling, assembly, drafting, and machining modules.</div></li><li><div>
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing; drafting and design requirements for a wide variety of materials and manufacturing methods.</div></li><li><div>
Knowledge of rapid prototyping /manufacturing methods and requirements.</div></li><li><div>
Mechanical aptitude; math skills; materials science with emphasis on the science of plastics.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to demonstrate problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand as needed to perform the duties of the position.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to visually detect quality defects.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods of time.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>

ELDP seeks to advance the development of talented engineers through the completion of three 12-month assignments in the areas of Product, Manufacturing, and a final assignment based on interest and business need in either Plant Quality, Customer Quality, or Materials Quality. Inclusion in this program will provide exposure to high-level company mentors, active learning events with senior leaders and challenging project work that directly contributes to key corporate and divisional objectives. Culminating in a permanent job placement within the ranks of Entegris, this program seeks to accelerate the process of identifying and positioning high-potential future leaders of Entegris.<br>
