Job Description 
We&rsquo;re looking for a hands-on, pragmatic leader to run delivery and operations out of our Karachi office. This role is for someone who doesn&rsquo;t just keep things running&mdash;but actively looks ahead, solves problems before they grow, and brings structure without red tape. 
You&rsquo;ll be the glue between our growing Karachi team and our leadership in the US&mdash;operating in complete lockstep with our COO and executive team. Communication won&rsquo;t be just a skill; it&rsquo;ll be your superpower. You&rsquo;ll need to listen deeply, surface issues early, and convey context clearly&mdash;up, down, and across. 
 
Key Qualifications<ul><li>
15+ years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years in senior leadership or operations roles</li><li>

Stay in constant, clear communication with US-based leadership</li><li>

Job Description
We are seeking a .NET Solutions Architect with deep expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on Azure. This is a senior, strategic, and hands-on role for someone who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, guiding both clients and internal teams to success.
The ideal candidate is not only a seasoned architect but also a clear communicator, pragmatic problem-solver, and someone who has successfully operated within a software services company environment. Experience juggling multiple clients, complex stakeholder needs, and fast-paced delivery expectations is essential.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Design end-to-end software architectures using .NET and Azure that meet business and technical objectives.</li><li>
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and client stakeholders.</li><li>
Define and document architecture decisions, design patterns, integration strategies, and non-functional requirements.</li><li>
Lead architectural discussions with clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and constraints.</li><li>
Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements in scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.</li><li>
Guide teams on the application of best practices, cloud-native design, and DevOps integration.</li><li>
Participate in pre-sales conversations and technical discovery sessions as needed.</li><li>
Mentor developers and technical leads to elevate overall technical capability across the team.</li></ul>
Core Technical Skills Required<ul><li>
Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and cloud-native solution design</li><li>
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including but not limited to:</li><li>
App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus</li><li>
Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage</li><li>
Identity &amp; Access Management (Azure AD, Managed Identities)</li><li>
Networking, monitoring, cost optimization, and security in Azure</li><li>
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</li><li>
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React) is a plus</li><li>
Strong architectural documentation and modeling skills (e.g., sequence diagrams, component diagrams)</li></ul>
Certifications<ul><li>
Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is required</li></ul>
Experience &amp; Background<ul><li>
Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a dedicated architecture role</li><li>
Must have prior experience working for a software services or consulting firm</li><li>
Experience working directly with clients to translate business needs into technical solutions</li><li>
Proven success leading solution architecture for complex, distributed systems</li><li>
Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS systems, API ecosystems, and enterprise-scale integrations is a plus</li></ul>
