Pay Range: $21&ndash;$24/hour

What You'll do:
<ul>
<li>Perform data analysis, data entry, and database management, including creating reports and formulas using tools such as Vision, Excel, and Access.</li>
<li>Maintain and update project schedules in Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy of progress, milestones, and deliverables through coordination with project managers and engineers.</li>
<li>Manage Jira databases and workflows, including creating, assigning, and tracking tasks, and developing dashboards and reports to monitor team workload and progress.</li>
<li>Track permits by maintaining logs and status trackers, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies, and providing timely updates to project leadership.</li>
<li>Support project scheduling, deliverable tracking, proposal preparation, and invoicing activities.</li>
<li>Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns for Project Managers and Business Unit leadership.</li>
<li>Assist with engineering-related tasks, including documentation, reporting, and process improvements to enhance team efficiency.</li>
<li>Manage special projects for the Business Unit and serve as backup support to the Administrative Assistant as needed.</li>
<li>Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements:
<ul>
<li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in database management, project administration, or a related field</li>
<li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel (advanced preferred), PowerPoint, and Access (preferred); experience with Microsoft Project is a plus</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset</li>
<li>Effective listening skills and the ability to quickly learn new processes and systems</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience with Primavera P6, Jira, or similar project/task management tools</li>
<li>Familiarity with engineering, construction, or technical project workflows</li>
<li>Experience with permitting processes or compliance documentation</li>
<li>Ability to analyze data and generate clear, actionable insights</li>
</ul>

Project Assistant

 Do you have the expertise and drive to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in the pipeline and welding inspection industry? We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Welding Inspector to join our dynamic team in Central Iowa. In this role, you&rsquo;ll enjoy working in the field while collaborating with a diverse team to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
 
 
 As a Welding Inspector, you will conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. You will review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards, identify and address welding defects, and maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors while delivering excellent work. Your role is vital in ensuring the integrity and safety of natural gas distribution pipeline projects through thorough inspections and quality assurance processes.
 
 
 This is a short-term contract role lasting six to nine months, focused on a pipeline project in Central Iowa. The position is field-based with a strong emphasis on hands-on oversight and compliance.
 
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) or equivalent (CPWI)
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a satisfactory driving record
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and problem-solving skills

 Enjoys working in the field and solving challenges in real time
