Job Description 
<ul><li>
Involving in the monthly closing process &amp; ensure timely completion of reporting with good accuracy</li><li>
Managing all India tax accounting and compliance activities such as GST, TDS, IIT filings &amp; reconciliation, ITRP reporting, and ad-hoc tax audits</li><li>
Working closely with GSC to make sure all transactions are being processed in a timely &amp; accurate manner</li><li>
US/India-GAAP compliance and financial controls, including SOX, internal/external audit reviews, tax, etc.</li><li>
Support Rail India's annual statutory audit and tax filing process, which includes LN and IGAAP reconciliation, provision of audit schedules, and tax computation.</li><li>
Additional ad-hoc projects, reporting, and analysis necessary for financial management as assigned by the immediate supervisor.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting</li><li>
5-8 years of experience, out of which a minimum of 3 years of exposure in GL and tax accounting areas, preferably in a matrix organization structure.</li><li>
Good US &amp; India GAAP knowledge and accounting techniques</li><li>
Experience in handling statutory audit/tax process and government tax audits.</li><li>
Proficient in Indian tax rules &amp; regulations</li><li>
Previous experience in ERP systems and analytical tools</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot table), PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.</li></ul>
