Position Title: Energy Marshall</div><div>
We are seeking an experienced Energy Marshall to oversee all energy management activities for our project, ensuring a safe, efficient, and incident-free operation. This role requires expertise in NFPA 70E standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and the ability to coordinate with trade contractors and site teams for safe energy management.</div><div>
Key Responsibilities:</div><ul><li><div>
Act as the qualified person overseeing all energy management activities on the project.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure and promote an incident and injury-free environment.</div></li><li><div>
Review and approve Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and Access Permits (APs) to ensure all energy-related tasks are completed safely and correctly.</div></li><li><div>
Update plant status as needed, reflecting system readiness and energy status.</div></li><li><div>
Oversee LOTO procedures and energized systems, ensuring compliance with project safety standards.</div></li><li><div>
Understand and apply NFPA 70E requirements to mechanical and electrical work performed on-site.</div></li><li><div>
Mitigate the risk of unintended and unexpected release of energy by implementing and overseeing LOTO programs.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with trade contractors to develop MOPs for pressurizing, testing, integration, and system startups.</div></li></ul><div>
Requirements:</div><ul><li><div>
NFPA 70E Certification (required).</div></li><li><div>
Proven experience overseeing energy management and LOTO programs on complex projects.</div></li><li><div>
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and their interaction with energy safety protocols.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to read and interpret MOPs, APs, and site-specific procedures.</div></li><li><div>
Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate effectively with project teams and contractors.</div></li><li><div>
