ERM is seeking a motivated Air Quality Consulting Associate to join our consulting team in USA. The successful candidate will work on a variety of interesting technical projects for clients in the oil &amp; gas, power, technology, and chemical sectors. ERM's national Air Quality experts provide knowledge sharing of best practices across the industry and ongoing learning opportunities for our team.</div><div>
ERM&rsquo;s Air Quality technical community pursues and wins highly innovative engagements for the most interesting clients, providing the full breadth relevant services. In North America alone, ERM has more than 300 dedicated air quality and climate change professionals assisting clients with projects as diverse as developing responses to emerging Low Carbon Fuel Standards, to leading complex capital projects through the many hurdles associated with the New Source Review (NSR) permitting program.</div><div></div><div>
RESPONSIBILITIES:</div><ul><li>
Conduct air quality analyses, assess regulatory compliance, and perform regulatory applicability evaluations.</li><li>
Develop complete and accurate air quality permits for Title V, Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), and New Source Review compliance. Interact with local regulators to steward permit application review and issuance.</li><li>
Prepare emission inventory reports; quantify air pollutant emissions and impacts.</li><li>
Implement climate change projects, such as greenhouse gas inventories.</li><li>
Prepare recommendations and reporting of results, (i.e., emissions testing, hours of operations limits, or control devices).</li><li>
Perform multiple tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.</li><li>
Interact and maintain successful relationships with clients, ERM employees, and subcontractors.</li></ul><div></div><div>
REQUIREMENTS:</div><ul><li>
BS in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering; MS preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>
Recent graduate to 3 years of direct consulting or industry experience involving environmental permitting and compliance. Experience with air quality construction permits and Title V permitting; PSD, NSR, Best Available Control Technology (BACT), and/or MACT experience a plus.</li><li>
Demonstrated understanding of air emissions and emission reporting processes.</li><li>
Strong hands-on spreadsheet and database comprehension.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.</li></ul><div></div><div>

Serve as the billable Consulting Director on sold engagements that require your skill set, or serve as a billable subject matter expert on other engagements that need your expertise.</li><li>
Leverage technical skills to help teams drive double-digit profitable growth across the Digital Services service lines (e.g. effectively working with key clients by assisting them with their EHS&amp;S Management Information Systems software selection, design, implementation, system integration, training, rollout, support, maintenance, and improvements).</li><li>
Lead, manage performance, inspire and mentor personnel for overall success of the team.</li><li>
Develop a working understanding of ERM&rsquo;s other consulting service areas and actively support cross-selling these services to existing clients. Support the general growth and development of ERM&rsquo;s international Digital Services area. Requirements:</div><ul><li>
BS/MS in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related program.</li><li>
15+ years of relevant consulting experience working with significant clients on EHS&amp;S Management Information Systems and sustainable EHS programs. Possess a diverse client portfolio which includes clients from the oil &amp; gas, chemicals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, energy, power, utilities, mining, hi-tech, or food and beverage markets.</li><li>
Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies in EHS&amp;S Management Information Systems software solutions. Successful hands on experience with Enablon, Intelex, Cority, Sphera, or other related EHS&amp;S software systems.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, and book personal sales in new Digital Systems consulting services within the EHSM domains.</li><li>
Recognized technical expertise and established reputation in the local marketplace.</li><li>

The Role</div><div></div><div>
The role is based in our Abu Dhabi office and will operate within our broader Capital Projects Delivery within our EMEA technical community. Will work in collaboration with other consultants and partners in international teams, as well as collaboratively with corporations, multilateral finance institutions, and other private and public sector clients to assess a wide range of corporate environmental, social and ethical issues, communicating with stakeholders at corporate and operational level.
