</div>POSITION PURPOSE<div>
The Electrical Engineer III will lay out, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems.
</div>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES<ul><li>
Develops, assembles, procures or modifies existing and new tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficent production methods</li><li>
Machines parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders</li><li>
Fabricates and assembles prototypes, test equipment and engineering models</li><li>
Measures, examines, and tests completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers</li><li>
Maintains equipment by competing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer&rsquo;s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs</li><li>
Solders through hole and surface mount components to prototype PCB</li><li>
Terminates wiring harnesses using crimping tools or soldering equipment</li><li>
Reads, edits and creates wire diagrams and schematics</li><li>
Demonstrated proficiency with analog and digital circuit analysis</li><li>
Reads, analyzes and interprets scientific and technical journals; responds to common inquiries or complaints from internal or external customers; effectively presents information to management</li><li>
Solves practical probloems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interprets instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form</li><li>
Works with probability and statistical inference, plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations</li><li>
Cultivates a culture that ssures effective cross functional team work</li><li>
Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values</li><li>
Performs job duties in a manner that maintains compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures</li></ul>
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
<ul><li>Identifies and troubleshoots process, material or equipment problems to minimize down time, optimize performance and improve quality</li><li>
Designs, builds and implements production and engineering electro-mechanical fixtures</li><li>
Coordinates and/or executes fixture calibration in the lab</li><li>
Assists in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause</li><li>
Manages stock inventory by checking current levels, anticipating future needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of stock</li><li>
All other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Schedule:<ul><li>
9/80 work schedule</li><li>
Monday &ndash; Friday</li><li>
Overtime may be required as assigned</li></ul><div>
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</div>
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree in related discipline; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>
5-7 years&rsquo; experience in a manufacturing environment</li></ul>
