What You'll Do <ul><li>Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies and regulations and ensure personnel also comply with safety guidelines and policies.</li><li>Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery.</li><li>Estimate repair costs.</li><li>Inspect drives, motors, belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions following checklists.</li><li>Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical/electronic testing devices.</li><li>Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.</li><li>Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.</li><li>Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.</li><li>Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work.</li><li>Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.</li><li>Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.</li><li>Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams.</li><li>Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms.</li><li>Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.</li><li>Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of building structures.</li><li>Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.</li><li>Align and balance new equipment after installation.</li><li>Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using measurement tools.</li><li>Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.</li><li>Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment.</li><li>Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.</li></ul> Competencies <ul><li>Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for actions.</li><li>Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively.</li><li>Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.</li><li>Decision Making - Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.</li><li>Diversity Oriented - Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.</li><li>Honesty / Integrity - Truthful and credible in the workplace.</li><li>Initiative - Ability to take actions to solve problems or reach goals.</li><li>Management Skills - Ability to organize and supervise others.</li><li>Reliability - Dependable and trustworthy.</li></ul> What You'll Need Education: High School Graduate or GED preferred; in lieu of education - 10+ years' experienceExperience: 5+ years' experienceComputer Skills: Microsoft OfficeCertifications & Licenses: None specifically required What We Offer <ul><li>International assignment package</li><li>Industry-leading training and development programs</li><li>Competitive insurance and benefit options</li><li>Paid vacation and holidays</li><li>Career growth opportunities through hands-on training and mentorship</li><li>Work alongside industry leaders and mentors</li><li>Additional training to excel and advance in your role</li><li>Coaching from experienced leaders focused on your growth</li><li>Opportunities to take on new challenges and responsibilities</li><li>A supportive, collaborative work environment that encourages idea-sharing</li></ul> Who We Are Epic Piping is among the largest privately owned pipe fabrication firms globally and a leader in serving the chemical, power, refining, offshore, and oil & gas industries.We are committed to equal opportunity and to creating an environment that supports personal training and development.We believe investing in our employees is essential to success.
