 In this role, your mission and responsibilities will be to:
 
 
 
 Under the supervision of the Assembly Supervisor and/or the Group Leader, the
 
 Production
 
 
 Assembler
 
 is responsible for operating and maintaining assembly equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the company.
 
 
 Read, interpret and understand blueprints to complete job assignments.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Use hand tools, clamps and grinders to perform job tasks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Any other duties that fall within the employee&rsquo;s capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling can be expected.
 </li>
 <li>
 Long periods of sitting and walking can also be expected in this position.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use of basic tools and equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing areas may be required and will require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection.
 </li>
 <li>
 Team member must be mobile enough to navigate the manufacturing shop floor safely including walking and standing for up to four hours at a time.
 
 
 </li>

 Experience and requirements:
 
 
 
 You&rsquo;re a curious problem solver who can bring big ideas to life. You&rsquo;re creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease. You&rsquo;re agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we always deliver top-notch customer experiences. You also have:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of 2 years experience in heavy duty machining/ manufacturing environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read tape measure and blueprints.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read and understand work order routings and instructions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
