Job Title: Software Engineer, Digital Pathology Image Management System development - C#
Location: Runcorn, hybrid
About the Opportunity: As a Software Engineer specializing in Digital Pathology Image Management System development (C# ), you will play a key role in building and enhancing solutions that support diagnostic workflows. Your responsibilities include working within a regulated environment to integrate AI capabilities into the Image Management System, developing reliable and efficient code, and managing the conversion of various digital slide formats. You will also focus on improving interoperability with Laboratory Information Systems and cloud platforms to streamline processes. In addition, you&rsquo;ll contribute to assigned projects and provide support for ad hoc requests as they arise.

What you will do:
<ul><li>Work in a regulated environment, integrating AI into the Image Management System (IMS).
</li><li>Develop and maintain robust code for system functionality and performance.
</li><li>Handle conversion and management of diverse digital slide formats.
</li><li>Enhance diagnostic workflows and ensure seamless integration with LIS and cloud solutions.
</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:
Required Skills and Experience:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (or equivalent experience); advanced degrees are a plus
</li><li>C# .NET framework 4.8 and .NET Core 2.0 and above
</li><li>CSS, JavaScript, WPF and Winforms and MVC
</li><li>ASP.NET, REST API, PostgreSQL and SQLite
</li><li>JIRA, Bitbucket, Git
</li></ul>Desired Skills and Experience:
<ul><li>C++
</li><li>Node.js, React, API integration
</li><li>Experience with digital slide formats: DICOM, TIFF, SVS, MRXS, iSyntax and NDPI

 The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the daily transportation operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of our products.

 This involves scheduling shipments, coordinating with carriers, tracking deliveries, maximizing shipping opportunities, minimizing freight costs, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company policies. This role will include support for both domestic and international shipments.

 What You Will Do
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Serves as a SAP &ldquo;super user&rdquo; with the ability to navigate from a sales order through the shipment process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Schedule and coordinate any daily inbound and outbound shipments
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely on-time delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with Planning, Customer Service, and site leadership to maximize daily shipping schedules
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and manage transportation costs by following customer schedules and dictating the proper mode of shipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Track shipments and provide status updates if necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and escalate back ordered items by utilizing company reports and systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Resolve or escalate any issues related to delays, damaged goods, or misrouted shipments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help ensure compliance with accurate BOLs, DOT, or international paperwork completed within the Distribution team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure on-time completion of revenue recognition activities post shipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide training and/or guidance to warehouse &amp; team personnel as necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the development or revision of guidelines and work instructions
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Distribution/Logistic complaints, disputes, and credits for continuous improvements on reducing freight and operations costs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide feedback to team members to help improve their processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support/Execute the outlined goals and KPI&rdquo;s of Distribution leadership
 </li>
 <li>
 Focus on continuous improvement activities/projects to improve processes, customer delivery, efficiency, or cost savings.
