What You'll Be Doing
<ul>
<li>Supervise shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate records, inventory control, and timely order fulfillment</li>
<li>Develop and improve processes related to shipping, receiving, quality, and rework to enhance efficiency and meet performance standards</li>
<li>Coordinate inbound and outbound carrier schedules to meet delivery timelines</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with customer shipping requirements</li>
<li>Recommend improvements for space utilization and workflow</li>
<li>Prepare reports and communicate performance metrics to team and management</li>
<li>Support and enforce safety, security, and facility maintenance programs</li>
<li>Maintain and approve accurate payroll records</li>
<li>Utilize warehouse management systems to optimize labor and meet operational goals</li>
<li>Recommend and implement system improvements</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards; participate in audits and serve as an ISO team member</li>
<li>Hire, train, evaluate, and develop team members</li>
<li>Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback</li>
<li>Advise management on personnel and operational issues requiring escalation</li>
<li>Build strong relationships with peers, senior managers, and vendors</li>
<li>Operate within budgetary constraints and assist in budget planning and reconciliation</li>
<li>Develop and maintain departmental standards and procedures</li>
<li>Contribute to tactical and annual operating plans, defining goals and objectives for the team</li></ul> 


What You Will Bring
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 2&ndash;3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment</li>
<li>Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) preferred</li>
<li>Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and carrier coordination</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team management skills</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li>
<li>Ability to analyze data and generate performance reports</li>
<li>Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement</li></ul></div></div></div> 
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $66,000 and $83,000/yr. Please note that this position&rsquo;s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Position Summary

Material Handlers are responsible for shipping or receiving inventory and non-inventory goods within a specific area while maintaining the facility and inventories in an orderly condition. They build strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives. 


Principal Accountabilities:
<ul>
<li>Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders. Perform accurate putaway of inbound shipments.</li>
<li>Operate equipment in accordance with safety procedures.</li>
<li>Load and unload trailers and containers.</li>
<li>Place appropriate documentation with outbound orders and inbound product per instructions.</li>
<li>Ensure all compliance requirements and special instructions are met.</li>
<li>Conduct random quality control audits of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure compliance.</li>
<li>Comply with all Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Radio Frequency (RF) instructions.</li>
<li>Complete housekeeping duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Participate in cycle counting processes.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 


Requirements
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.</li>
<li>Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to work overtime when needed.</li></ul></div></div></div>
