About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Modern Workplace Engineer to join our Modern Workplace Engineering team. The Role will be part of a subject matter expert team responsible for effective provisioning, installation, operation, and maintenance of platforms including InTune, Azure, IAM and MS365 services.
This is a key role responsible for the full lifecycle of endpoint management features, with a strong focus on automation, security, and continuous improvement. You will work independently on complex tasks, collaborate with colleagues, and help drive the adoption of modern endpoint technologies.
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Design, implement, and support endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune, PowerShell and Microsoft Cloud / SaaS tooling.
</li><li>Assist in migration work away from on-premises software to cloud native solutions.
</li><li>Develop, test, and maintain scripts and automation for device management and security compliance.
</li><li>Contribute to the optimisation of engineering processes, knowledge management, and continuous learning.
</li><li>Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the End User Computing environment and related applications.
</li><li>Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to strengthen our endpoint management capabilities.
</li><li>Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and take responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution
</li><li>Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed, comprehensive documentation.
</li><li>Support and mentor less experienced colleagues within the team.
</li><li>Maintain an expert level of knowledge in area of expertise by maintaining certifications current, attending seminars or though other related activities
</li><li>Work with the wider IT department to ensure the quality of coordinated projects and business needs
</li></ul>Essential Skills &amp; Experience
<ul><li>Significant experience in endpoint engineering, configuration, or support within a MSP, SaaS or enterprise environment.
</li><li>Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune for device management.
</li><li>Advanced experience and knowledge in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
</li><li>Expert knowledge of the Windows 11 operating system.
</li><li>Familiarity with SCCM, AAD/Entra, AD, MS365, MS Defender, Azure and licensing.
</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities.
</li><li>Understanding and application of ITIL principles and practices, and how they relate to the goals and objectives of the organization.
</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills, in addition to extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all IT Infrastructure groups, peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
</li><li>Ability to manage high priority projects and proven ability to work successfully as part of a team at all levels.
</li></ul>Desirable Skills
<ul><li>MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator Associate), AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate) or other relevant qualifications highly advantageous
</li><li>Experience with Office 365, JamF and other enterprise ready solutions.
</li><li>Experience with ZScaler for secure access and network protection.
</li><li>Knowledge of CIS Benchmarking and associated security frameworks.
</li><li>Background in Financial Services or Pensions.
</li></ul>Education
<ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
</li><li>Postgraduate qualifications in advanced computer science or an MBA in Systems are advantageous.

This is a 6-12-month FTC. As a Client Reporting Accountant you will be joining a team of over 30 Accountancy professionals working together to service in excess of 200 clients. Whilst you will be working as part of one team, you will be responsible for your own client portfolio & will report to the Head of Pension Accounts through a Team Leader. Core Duties/Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: <ul> <li>Responsible for drafting pension scheme financial statements and annual reports in accordance with agreed legislation and best practice, in liaison with clients and their professional advisers.</li><li>Responsible for facilitating audits by pension scheme auditors to agreed timetables.</li><li>Preparing periodic financial reports and financial management information for clients.</li><li>Processing transactional information and reconciliations.</li><li>Comply with financial control environment and accounting quality standards.</li><li>Authorise payments in accordance with mandates.</li><li>Prepare trustees self-assessment tax return forms for submission to HMRC within statutory deadlines; prepare quarterly accounting for tax returns for submission to HMRC, prepare ONS Returns.</li><li>Share skills and experiences with team members, build relationships with clients as their dedicated Pension Accountant.</li><li>Build and maintain an awareness of other EQ Paymaster activities and work flexibly with other teams and departments.</li><li>Ad-hoc accounting activities as required by your Team Leader and the Head of Pension Accounts.</li></ul> The duties and responsibilities outlined above are to be regarded as broad areas of responsibility and do not necessarily detail all tasks which the post holder may be required to perform.
