<b>Job Overview:</b><br>
The Pipeline Engineer executes all aspects of Pipeline Engineering activities within the department. Works collaboratively to ensure Pipeline Engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established objectives. Supports the Piping Engineering team across our global offices, including Canada, Australia, USA, and India.</div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li><br>
Subject matter expert for underground pipeline design, specification, and construction.</li><li>Oversee, train, and mentor junior pipeline engineers.</li><li>Ensure the quality and accuracy of Pipeline Engineering deliverables.</li><li>Ensure effectiveness of global workshare to meet corporate requirements.</li><li>Assist in leading and execution of project deliverables including but not limited to pipeline wall thickness and material specifications, alignment sheets, routing analysis, crossing design, riser and pigging facility design, material requisitions, and specialty item specifications.</li><li>Contribute to project documentation including DBM&rsquo;s, execution plans, and construction work packages.</li><li>Identify and coordinate stress engineering requirements related to pipeline design.</li><li>Work closely with Design Drafting department to ensure efficient delivery of optimized drawings and models.</li><li>Execute calculations required for pipeline design including but not limited to, wall thickness, buoyancy control, hydrotest, and pullback.</li><li>Liaise with Stress, Mechanical, Supply Chain and Project Management.</li><li>Support response to RFI&rsquo;s related to pipeline systems.</li><li>Develop, manage, and implement project specifications.</li><li>Demonstrate commitment to the Health and Safety program.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</b></h3><ul><li><br>
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proven ability to execute efficiently on underground pipeline projects with diameters ranging from NPS 6 to NPS 42.</li><li>Experience in contributing to multi-discipline teams, including global workshare.</li><li>Proven experience designing pipeline systems to CSA Z662, ASME B31.4/B 31.8, and AS 2885.</li><li>Expert level knowledge of CSA Z662.</li><li>Familiarity with API 5L and CSA Z245.1.</li><li>Working knowledge of metallurgy and materials selection for pipeline systems transporting high pressure and/or corrosive materials.</li><li>Working knowledge of welding procedures, procedure qualification and NDE methodology.</li><li>Demonstrated experience producing pipeline alignment sheets, materials specifications, data sheets for valves and induction bends, and piping arrangements for pigging facilities.</li><li>Experience in trenchless crossing design including HDD&rsquo;s, HDB&rsquo;s and auger bores.</li><li>Ability to effectively resolve interdisciplinary issues, or concerns that arise within a team environment.</li><li>Ability to evaluate and address constructability concerns from desktop information.</li><li>Broad exposure to North American pipeline design.</li><li>Familiarity with design and materials selection for CO2 pipeline systems.</li></ul><br>
<b>
Education and Qualifications:</b><br>
<ul><li>Successful candidate will possess a Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering degree.</li><li>Minimum 8 years pipeline design experience with minimum 5 years recent EPCM experience, focused on pipeline engineering.</li><li>Experience in CAD and Civil 3D modelling is considered an asset.</li></ul><br>

<li>Administer compensation and benefits programs: monitor market trends, evaluate benefit providers, negotiate contracts, ensure cost-effectiveness, manage benefit communications.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain robust HR operations: oversee HR information systems (HRIS/ATS); maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with privacy &amp; employment laws.</li>
