The Referral Coordinator will support diverse accounts, primarily focused on referral prescription review. This individual will help ensure success for our customers by reviewing referral prescriptions in the customer&rsquo;s EMR, improving EMR documentation efforts, and establishing relationships with providers in the service areas of our customers.</p><p>
The role will also be responsible for reconciling outstanding prescription requests, handling escalated pharmacy, and auditing claims as needed.</p></div></div><div><p><br>
Key Responsibilities</p></div><div><div><ul><li><p><br>
Develop and maintain relationships with customers by ensuring that all relevant prescription documentation is accurate and stored in the customer&rsquo;s EMR, as it relates to the Covered Entities&rsquo; Policy and Procedures.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Perform prescription validation on the customer&rsquo;s behalf.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Navigate customer EMR and TPA platforms.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Collaborate with team members on referral prescription validation workflows and training materials.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Communicate and report on account activity and operational progress.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Develop, update, and maintain internal tracking related to program goals.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Maintain the confidentiality of client and program information.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Assist team with daily job assignments and tasks.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Assist in monitoring and tracking pharmacy fulfillment performance across pharmacies.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Assist in ensuring continuous improvement opportunities between Equiscript and all pharmacy partners.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Assist with auditing processes for newly hired representatives to ensure training was adequate and they fully understand all steps.</p></li></ul></div></div><div><p><br>

Understanding of medical and pharmacy terminology and medications and the ability to pronounce drugs names and explain information.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Understanding of Covered Entities&rsquo; Policy and Procedures</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
A meticulous, problem-solving multi-tasker, who is driven by deadlines and can work independently after training.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Aptitude for computers and the ability to work comfortably in a phone and computer-based environment.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
Provide feedback and ideas/strategies to improve performance for pharmacy relations.</p></li></ul></div></div><div><p><br>
Preferred Experience</p></div><div><div><ul><li><p><br>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</p></li><li><p>
Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required.</p></li><li><p>
Prefers at least 2 years of 340B experience at a Covered Entity or TPA.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>
2-3 years Medical Practice or Pharmacy Experience with Customer Service Skills.</p></li><li><p>
Practical Understanding of Medical Terminology and Medications.</p></li><li><p>
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Apps, email, and internet use.</p></li></ul></div></div><div><p><br>
Physical Requirements</p></div><div><br>

Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting up to 25 pounds; requires a normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.</li><li>
