Urgent opening for Sr TAX AccountantLocation - MALAD WESTMIN 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCEMONDAY TO FRIDAY - 9 TO 6JOB PURPOSETo carry out tax accounting, timely payments of statutory liabilities, tax compliances, MIS activities andassist the Manager Taxation on tasks assigned from time to time.ACCOUNTABILITIESGST&#61623; Updating Tax Team about the latest Amendments in the GST Tax Laws&#61623; Guiding the Tax Team in GST returns such GSTR 1, GSTR- 3B, GSTR 9 &amp;amp; 9C, GSTR 10 etc&#61623; Verifying GSTR-1 &amp;amp; GSTR-3B Returns, GSTR-2B and Turnover Reconciliation&#61623; Co-ordinating with Account Team w.r.t their Tax related queries&#61623; Co-ordinating with clients w.r.t GST queries&#61623; Co-ordinating with GST Auditor in respect of their GST queries&#61623; Handling Notices / Scrutiny &amp;amp; replying to concerned officers&#61623; Maintaining checklistTDS&#61623; Updating Tax Team and Accounts Team about the latest Amendments in the TDS law&#61623; Application of TAN&#61623; Guiding the Tax Team in filing TDS Returns &amp;amp; resolving Default notices thereafter, if any&#61623; Verifying the Reconciliation of TDS Receivable as per books with 26AS&#61623; Verifying the Reconciliation of TDS Payable as per books with TDS Returns filed&#61623; Intimating the accounts &amp;amp; tax team on new clients falling within the purview of TDS based onthreshold limits specified by the IT&#61623; Co-ordinating with Tax Auditor w.r.t to their queries&#61623; Co-ordinating with clients w.r.t TDS related queriesINCOME TAX RETURN &amp; ADVANCE TAX&#61623; Guiding the Tax Team and Accounts Team about latest amendments in Income Tax Act, 1961&#61623; Co-ordinating with client w.r.t Income Tax queries&#61623; Co-ordinating with Tax Consultants for filing Income Tax Returns &amp;amp; Tax Audit&#61623; Handling scrutiny work &amp;amp; replying to concerned officers&#61623; Knowledge about International Taxation (preferable)&#61623; Calculation of Advance Tax&#61623; Maintaining checklistPROFESSION TAX RETURN&#61623; Co-ordinating with Consultant for filing PTRC Return &amp;amp; Payments.&#61623; Guiding the Tax Team and Accounts Team on proper deduction of Profession TaxQUALIFICATION&#61623; Bachelors / Master&rsquo;s degree / CA Inter or equivalent.&#61623; Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.&#61623; Knowledge of accounts and taxation.&#61623; Previous experience of general accounting &amp;amp; taxation.&#61623; Proficiency in relevant tally &amp;amp; tax software&rsquo;s.JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp;amp; EXPERIENCE&#61623; In-depth knowledge of Direct taxes (Income tax, TDS, Advance Tax etc) &amp;amp; Indirect taxes (GST,PT Return etc).&#61623; Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.&#61623; Good Communication skills &ndash; English speaking.&#61623; Assist with year-end closings.&#61623; Prepare tax computations and returns.&#61623; Account reconciliations.&#61623; Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.KEY RELATIONSHIPS/ CUSTOMERSAccounts Manager, Statutory Auditor, Clients and ConsultantsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;500,000.00 - &#8377;600,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Commuter assistance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Internet reimbursement</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
