This position is hybrid and remote eligible for up to 40% of the time. The office location for this position is at ESL Corporate Headquarters in Rochester, NY. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.</p>

Starting Pay: $101,852 Salary Range: $78,363 - $113,596<br>

<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Purpose of Position:</b></h4>
<p>
The Project Manager leads the planning and execution of medium to large-scale projects that drive operational efficiency, innovation, or regulatory compliance at ESL. This role uses standard project management methodologies to manage scope, schedule, risk, and stakeholders. Project Managers work cross-functionally to deliver value, support continuous improvement of processes in the Project Management Office (PMO), and mentor less experienced team members.</p>

Accountabilities:</b></h4>
<p>
Lead Project Planning and Delivery</p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the full lifecycle of strategic projects ranging from system implementations to product or process improvements</li>
<li>Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to coordinate teams, tasks, and resources</li>
<li>Drive timely completion of deliverables within agreed-upon scope, timeline, and budget</li>
<li>Prepare project plans, charters, risk logs, and status updates for various stakeholders</li>
</ul>
<p>Partner with Stakeholders</p>
<ul>
<li>Build strong relationships with internal departments, vendors, and consultants</li>
<li>Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through accessible, responsive communication</li>
<li>Navigate challenges and negotiations professionally to keep projects aligned and moving forward</li>
</ul>
<p>Support PMO Team and Process Standards</p>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the refinement of project templates, processes, and tools in collaboration with the PMO</li>
<li>Provide feedback on practical improvements based on project execution experience</li>
<li>Mentor Project Coordinators and early-career team members, offering guidance on documentation, scheduling, communication, and best practices</li>
<li>Help foster a culture of learning and excellence within the PMO</li>
</ul>
<p>Continuously Develop Skills and Advance Expertise</p>
<ul>
<li>Stay current on industry trends and best practices</li>
<li>Participate in training and self-development opportunities</li>
<li>Perform other related duties as assigned or appropriate to support business needs</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications:</b></h4>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of directly related experience in Project Management</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years project management experience, including:
<ul><li>Leading cross-functional teams of 10+ participants</li>
<li>Managing projects 6+ months in duration</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience managing projects requiring complex analysis and problem solving</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience managing projects resulting in presentation of recommendations and roadmaps</li>
</ul></li><li>In-depth understanding of effective project management principles and processes</li>
<li>Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization</li>
<li>Excellent presentation skills tailored to the audience with demonstrated ability to distill abstract and complex information into a simple-to-understand delivery</li>
<li>Excellent leadership and team building skills</li>
<li>Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills and ability to recognize and escalate issues</li>
<li>Strong planning and organizational skills</li>

</div><p>Accountable for development and maintenance of relationships outside of the credit union to increase mortgage volume. This position will take mortgage applications and assist members through the mortgage process. Works in conjunction with the Mortgage Team and third party stakeholders to ensure an expedient process.

<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications:</b></h4>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or 4 additional years of equivalent experience in mortgage lending/real estate/real estate secured lending. A combination of equivalent education and experience may be considered as a Mortgage Originator, or in lieu of the previous experience; successful completion of the Mortgage Sales Development program.</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years mortgage origination/sales experience with demonstrated success meeting monthly goals or successful completion of Mortgage Origination/Sales Development Program plus 1 year of origination experience.
<ul><li>Willingness and ability to develop trusting Realtor and Centers of Influence (COI) partnerships
</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Strong external sales and networking skills</li>
<li>Detailed understanding of Government Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) requirements, Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and other real estate standards.</li>
</ul></li><li>Successfully registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator through ESL</li>
<li>Must complete submission of application to the NMLS within the first week of employment and subsequently be successfully registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator through ESL</li>
