<div><div><p><b>Job Purpose:</b></p>
<p>To plan, direct and co-ordinate all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance required in the unit. Ensuring alignment with relevant standards and ensure the availability of utilities required to meet production targets.</p>
<p><b>DIMENSION OF ROLE:</b></p>
<p>Interaction with all departments at the site as well as corporate office related to budget, inventory, capex, technical engineering matters and be able to deal with regulatory authorities &amp; external certification bodies i.e. pollution related &amp; IBR. Job holders works closely with engineering vendors &amp; contractors for execution of work.</p>
<p><b>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
</b></p><div><ul><li>To ensure all equipment are in good condition to manufacture product as per the production requirement.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure over all engineering cost at the budgeted level.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor the energy consumption and bring improvement.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor the efficiency of major equipment, down time, energy loss and preventive maintenance of equipment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develop new vendors for bringing cost effectiveness.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure 100% availability of steam, power, air, water and chilled water as per production requirement.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Implementing safety initiatives in all areas of engineering and monitoring the results.</li></ul>
<ul><li>To implement all SOP and Work Compliance of SOP and practicing utmost safety standards to ensure industrial safety.</li></ul>
<ul><li>To coordinate the Internal Quality Audit and support the site to meet the QMS requirement. Ensure corrective actions are taken as per agreed time line on the observation raised during internal / external audits.</li></ul>
<ul><li>To support the site team in customer audit readiness and monitoring of the compliance of the actions on regular basis.</li></ul>
<ul><li>To lead &amp; coach engineering team.</li></ul>
<ul><li>To develop capabilities of team members by various training programs.</li></ul>

<p><b>Qualification</b>:</p>
<p>B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering</p>
<p><b>Competencies:</b></p>
<p><b>Technical:</b></p>
<div><ul><li>Cost &amp; business understanding.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge of the production process applicable in cosmetic industry.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Good knowledge of utilities &amp; production equipment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Well versed with legal &amp; statutory requirement for HT systems, air, water &amp; noise pollution.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Basic awareness on cosmetic EHS, GMP &amp; ISO Standards.</li></ul>
