 The ideal candidate will have Responsibilities such as (not limited to):

 Utilize Smart Document Management Software for daily operations, maintenance, security, and quality control;
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee and maintain all controlled firm documents, both paper-based and electronic;
 </li>
 <li>
 Review, edit, and format documents for official distribution, ensuring compliance with firm standards;
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft and prepare lawsuit procedural applications, legal documents, and request forms for signature;
 </li>
 <li>
 Format and finalize letters, notices, pleadings, and submissions for official use;
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and process case hearing substitution representation forms;
 </li>
 <li>
 Register applications, cases, and submissions in the Supreme Judicial Council Court System (&ldquo;Mahakem&rdquo;);
 </li>
 <li>
 Notify and update clients on hearing decisions and case status;
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage documents requiring translation and coordinate with translators;
 </li>
 <li>
 Dispatch letters and legal notices via courier, registered mail, and shipments;
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and register Power of Attorneys (POAs) through the SAK Portal and maintain accurate POA records;
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement a document identification, classification, and filing system (both physical and electronic);
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular document audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with recorded evidence;
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to the firm&rsquo;s document control procedures and specifications;
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish efficient document filing and organization systems to ensure easy retrieval and security;
 </li>
 <li>
 Log, track, and manage document access, ensuring availability to authorized personnel;
 </li>
 <li>
 Distribute and notify relevant parties of document updates;
 </li>
 <li>
 Scan, upload, and store documents systematically while ensuring proper registration in the firm&rsquo;s system;
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle document reproduction tasks, including copying, scanning, and printing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and track court hearing and complaint records, including dates, decisions, and judgments;
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports for the Document Control Department;
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent the firm at legal and professional events as required;
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute additional tasks as assigned by management in alignment with the role&rsquo;s scope;

 ROLE BRIEF
 
 
 
 
 The position of Senior Legal Counsel - Head of Civil &amp; Commercial Litigation Division is a crucial role within the Legal Department. As the head of a specific division, the individual is responsible for managing 3-4 teams, 15 &ndash; 20 members and ensuring the overall performance and growth of the division.
 
 
 
 Heads of Divisions are entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure effective management and coordination of legal matters. This role involves strategizing, supervising legal proceedings, and fostering client relations to optimize outcomes.
 
 
 
 One of the primary responsibilities of the Head of Litigation Division is meeting clients, identifying legal problems, crafting tailored strategies for cases and clients and providing solutions, as well as identifying opportunities for new litigation services.
 
 
 Advising clients is another core duty of the Head of Litigation. This includes drafting and preparing legal advices, legal notices, court pleadings, statements, and submissions. It is also essential for the individual to review and monitor the work of the assigned litigation team members, ensuring the quality of submissions and making any necessary amendments.
 
 
 Managing the assigned team members is a vital aspect of the role. This includes assigning tasks, supervising their daily tasks and progress, and providing ongoing support and mentorship. The Head of Litigation must ensure that all legal advices and submissions are prepared on time by the team and that clients are regularly communicated and updated on the progress and results of litigation matters.
 
 
 Court hearings are a significant part of litigations, and the Head of Litigation is responsible for assigning court attendance tasks, responsibilities, tracking hearing dates, and supervising meetings with experts. They must also provide oversight on requests originating from the team and maintain control over attendance.
 
 
 Reporting is an essential aspect of the role, as the Head of Litigation is required to provide regular updates to the Partners. They must also prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on tasks, progress, status, and results of litigations and services handled by the division.
 
 
 By actively contributing to the team's growth and needs, promoting best practices and client service quality, and attending key industry events, the Head of Litigation ensures the division's success and the firm's competitive advantage.
 
 
 The ideal candidate for this position should be a qualified lawyer with at least 20 years of post-qualification experience. Fluency in Arabic is a must and preferably bilingual lawyers (Arabic/English). They must have a proven ability to manage files and work under pressure while managing multiple projects. A real interest and background in litigation, as well as strong relationship-building skills, are also essential.

 -&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Managing, supervising, and monitoring the assigned litigation team members with their daily tasks, progress of matters, and status of the tasks and matters.
 
 
 -&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Providing ongoing support to the assigned litigation team members of the division, mentoring team members, and helping others to be successful in their roles.
 
 
 -&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Supervising and ensuring all legal advices, legal notices, court pleadings, statements, submissions, and representation forms are prepared on time by the team.

By supervising the assigned litigation team members and ensuring clients are contacted promptly and regularly with all litigation matters (discussions, progress, and results). Ensuring consistent email communication between litigation division team members and clients for updates on hearings, document exchange, and other pertinent matters.

 -&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Coordinating with other members of the Legal Department on strategies, status, decisions, progress of all legal cases, and issues concerning clients.
