In this role, you will support the implementation of evidence-based behavioral interventions for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while advancing your career in applied behavior analysis (ABA). We will prioritize candidates who are planning to progress to BCBA certification.Duties<ul><li>Support the supervising BCBA with conducting behavioral assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.</li><li>Provide direct supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) on implementing behavior analytic interventions.</li><li>Monitor client progress and adjust treatment protocols in collaboration with the supervising BCBA.</li><li>Implement behavior analytic interventions with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental or behavioral challenges.</li><li>Complete accurate and timely documentation of time and activities spent providing therapy, including conversion of session times, writing narrative session notes, and collecting quantitative data.</li><li>Maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with agency guidelines and state and federal rules, including HIPAA.</li><li>Ensuring client safety, including using appropriate techniques during behavior management.</li><li>Communicating professionally and promptly with clients, parents/guardians, and coworkers.</li><li>Behaving ethically, and in the client&rsquo;s best interest.</li></ul>Required Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in psychology, education, or a related field from an accredited institution</li><li>Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)</li><li>Licensure (or eligibilty for licensure) as a Licensed Assitant Behavior Analyst in the state of Georgia.</li><li>2+ years of overall experience in the field of ABA and autism therapy</li><li>Familiarity with documentation procedures and HIPAA compliance</li></ul>Preferred Experience:<ul><li>Experience in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and direct skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS, etc.)</li><li>Experience providing direct supervision and clinical oversight to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)</li><li>Working toward BCBA certification within the next year.</li></ul>Other Qualifications: <ul><li>Must be able to observe and move with children in their natural environments</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate working and playing with children (sitting on the floor or ground, standing up quickly, etc.).</li><li>Must be able to lift small children (up to 50 pounds).</li><li>Must be able to utilize safe non-violent crisis intervention techniques with clients of all ages.</li><li>Must be able to assist with toileting and daily living skills in accordance with treatment plan goals</li></ul>Join us to empower individuals through compassionate care and innovative behavioral strategies!
