Key accountabilities and responsibilities: As an Assistant Store Manager at EssilorLuxottica Chalhoub, you will support the Store Manager in leading all aspects of store operations. Your primary focus is to ensure excellent customer service, drive sales performance, coach and develop the team, and maintain high operational standards. You will play a key role in motivating the team and supporting the overall business goals while stepping in as the acting manager when needed. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Support the Store Manager in executing the store’s action plan and achieving sales targets and KPIs.</li><li>Act as a role model by delivering exceptional customer service and representing the brand’s image, values, and philosophy.</li><li>Drive daily team motivation, provide on-the-floor guidance, and ensure seamless operations throughout all store zones.</li><li>Support in team scheduling, shift planning, and ensuring proper floor coverage during peak hours.</li><li>Maintain a customer-centric approach by building strong relationships and leveraging the store’s CRM database to identify selling opportunities.</li><li>Stay updated on trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity, and actively share insights with the Store Manager.</li><li>Support visual merchandising activities and stock replenishment in line with brand guidelines.</li><li>Assist in onboarding, training, and mentoring new and existing team members.</li><li>Participate in regular performance check-ins and support the implementation of individual development plans.</li><li>Support in ensuring that all operational, safety, legal, and compliance procedures are followed.</li><li>Actively contribute to creating a positive and inclusive store culture, promoting trust, respect, and open communication.</li><li>Handle customer concerns or issues in a professional and solution-oriented manner.</li><li>Step in for the Store Manager during absences or delegated responsibilities.</li></ul> Are you?<ul><li>Passionate about people development and retail excellence</li><li>KPI and performance-focused with strong commercial awareness</li><li>Confident in leading daily floor operations</li><li>Committed to continuous learning and personal growth</li><li>Solution-driven and customer-obsessed</li><li>Motivated by working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum of 3 years in optical retail.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in team coordination or floor leadership</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage</li></ul>
