Procurement &amp; Costing SpecialistCompany: Nutra19 Location: Wood Dale, IL Job Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site onlyScheduleMonday&ndash;Friday, daytime hoursAbout the RoleNutra19 is a growing nutraceutical manufacturer seeking a Procurement &amp; Costing Specialist with established vendor relationships in the nutraceutical industry and hands-on experience costing both tincture and softgel formulations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate product costs, reliable supply, and scalable procurement systems as we expand production.This is a hands-on role working closely with Production, R&amp;D, Quality, and Supply Chain in a GMP-regulated environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Source raw materials, packaging, and supplies from established nutraceutical vendors</li><li>Leverage existing vendor relationships to obtain competitive pricing and reliable lead times</li><li>Request, evaluate, and compare quotes for ingredients and packaging</li><li>Build and maintain accurate assembly and formulation costing for tinctures and softgels</li><li>Develop and maintain BOMs, labor assumptions, and overhead allocations</li><li>Maintain supplier specifications, COAs, and documentation for GMP compliance</li><li>Collaborate with Quality and R&amp;D to qualify new suppliers and materials</li><li>Set up and maintain SKUs, items, and cost structures in QuickBooks Enterprise</li><li>Support audits by providing procurement and supplier documentation</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternate sourcing strategies</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of experience in nutraceutical procurement or supply chain</li><li>Established relationships with nutraceutical ingredient and packaging vendors</li><li>Hands-on experience costing both tincture and softgel products</li><li>Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills</li><li>Experience using QuickBooks Enterprise</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience supporting scale-up or new product launches</li><li>Familiarity with contract manufacturers and private-label sourcing</li><li>Experience preparing costing for pricing, margin analysis, and forecasting</li><li>Experience supporting audits and regulatory documentation</li></ul>Why Join Nutra19?Nutra19 is in a rapid growth phase where procurement decisions directly influence margins, production schedules, and launch timelines.
