</ul><div>Job Summary<br>
</div><div>We are seeking dependable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Laborers / Landscapers to join our team. Employees will perform a variety of landscaping and grounds maintenance duties at federal government facilities throughout the Horsham, Warminster, and Philadelphia areas.<br>
</div><div>The primary work location will be the Willow Grove Airfield Base; however, employees may be assigned to other nearby federal facilities as needed.<br>
</div><div>The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to performing quality work. Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is preferred but not required.<br>
</div><div>Schedule<br>
</div><ul><li>Monday through Friday</li>
<li>Overtime and Saturday work frequently available</li>
<li>Typical work week of 35&ndash;50 hours</li>
</ul><div>Responsibilities<br>
</div><ul><li>Mow grass and maintain turf areas</li>
<li>Trim and edge sidewalks, curbs, and landscaped areas</li>
<li>Prune trees, shrubs, bushes, and hedges</li>
<li>Remove weeds and unwanted vegetation</li>
<li>Plant, water, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and landscape materials</li>
<li>Gather, remove, and properly dispose of litter and debris</li>
<li>Operate landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge pruners, chainsaws, tractors, and other hand and power tools</li>
<li>Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance projects</li>
<li>Follow all safety procedures and federal facility security requirements</li>
<li>Maintain a professional attitude while working around government personnel and facility occupants</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul><div>Qualifications<br>
</div><ul><li>Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience preferred</li>
<li>Experience operating hand-held and powered landscaping equipment preferred</li>
<li>Reliable transportation is required</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a federal background check</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday</li>
<li>Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and remain on your feet for extended periods</li>
<li>Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions</li>
<li>Strong attendance and dependability are required</li>
</ul><div>Additional Information<br>
</div><div>Applicants must have reliable transportation. Employees may report to different federal facilities within the Horsham, and Philadelphia areas based on operational needs. Work is performed outdoors year-round and may require occasional overtime and weekend work.<br>
