Job Description &ndash; Forklift OperatorPosition: Forklift Operator Department: Production / Warehouse / Logistics Location: Etihad Steel Factory, QatarJob SummaryEtihad Steel Factory is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to safely load, unload, transport, and stack raw materials and finished products while ensuring compliance with company safety procedures.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the factory and warehouse.</li><li>Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage racks.</li><li>Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment to designated locations.</li><li>Ensure proper handling of steel products to prevent damage.</li><li>Perform daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift and report any defects or maintenance requirements.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of material movements when required.</li><li>Assist with inventory management and stock organization.</li><li>Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.</li><li>Support warehouse and production teams with material handling activities.</li><li>Wear and maintain the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.</li><li>Report accidents, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions immediately.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.</li><li>Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification (preferred or as required by local regulations).</li><li>Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience, preferably in a steel fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment.</li><li>Ability to operate different types of forklifts safely.</li><li>Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory handling.</li><li>Ability to read and understand safety instructions and work procedures.</li><li>Good physical fitness and ability to work in an industrial environment.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Safe forklift operation</li><li>Material handling and storage</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Teamwork and communication</li><li>Time management</li><li>Safety awareness</li><li>Reliability and responsibility</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Industrial manufacturing environment.</li><li>Indoor and outdoor work as required.</li><li>Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays when operational needs require.</li><li>Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and heavy machinery.</li></ul>Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR10,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have Transferable Visa?</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Doha (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
