SALES ENGINEER

Job Title : QAQC HeadResponsibilities: 1. Responsible for QAQC documents and submitals.2. Responsible for fit-up inspection-related activities on the fabrication stage in compliance with the project specification.3. Responsible for welding &amp; NDT inspection-related activities on the welding stage in compliance with the project specification.4. Carry out various types of inspection such as dimension inspection, visual inspection, joint inspection, fit-up assembly inspection, hole location &amp; orientation inspection, visual inspection, weld visual inspection, and in-house NDT inspection.5. Responsible for Painting inspectionsQualifications:1. Certifications required: CSWIP 3.1, BGAS-CSWIP Paint Inspector, ASNT NDT atleast MPI 2. Graduate in any discipline with a quality assurance / mechanical engineering diploma from a recognized university.3. QA/QC Head

- Reporting to Production Foreman- Reads and interprets engineering drawings to determine specific welding requirements.- Connects cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, as specified by superiors.- Manually guides electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle.- Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions (1F, 2F, 3F, 4F, 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G.- MS Steel and GI welding. Aluminum and Stainless-steel welding is preferable- Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.- Repairs broken or cracked parts and fills holes.- Positions and clamps work pieces together or assemble them in jig or fixtures.- Selects torch, torch tip, filler ford and flux, according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material.- Tacks assemblies together.- Chips off excess weld, slag, and spatter.- Cleans or de-greases parts.- Performs all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding.- Be able to move parts in and move finished product out of welding areaJob Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you available in Qatar with Transferable visa ?</li></ul>
