JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is supporting our Sales and Engineering department with the design of Industrial Application and Process Control Panels. This will include developing Sequence of Operations, Component Selection, Control Panel Schematics, Fabrication Assistance, and Startup-Installation support. All Control Panels designed and built by ETTER Engineering carry the UL-508A approval. We specialize in Industrial Heater, Process Controls, Instrumentation, Pumps and Motors, etc. Majority of the Control Panels are based on PLC's and HMI's. Work will be in-house at ETTER Engineering Company in Bristol, CT.The work includes:<ul><li>Designing industrial control panels, including component selection</li><li>Work performed to UL508a complying with NFPA 70. and NFPA 86. Any knowledge of these are a plus,</li><li>Creating and Checking Bills of Materials.</li><li>Creating wiring schematics. Working with Quality Control regarding Testing Procedures.</li><li>Working tightly with Sales Department. Read customer specifications to ensure designs are compliant.</li><li>Provide field assistance for startup and service work of various equipment and controls as required</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Knowledge and experienced with Industrial Controls, PLC's and HMI's (Actual programming done by others in the Group)</li><li>Strong knowledge of controls and electrical systems design</li><li>Knowledge and experienced in the application of VFDs</li><li>Formal Education, such as BSEE, but will consider the right candidate with hands on training</li><li>Electrical and Mechanical aptitude</li><li>Accuracy and Attention to Detail</li><li>Experience in AutoCAD</li><li>Must be a Team player that can also work independently, and able to multi-task, as there will be multiple jobs at different phases being worked on at the same time</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
