 &middot; B.A. or B.Sc. degree from a reputable university in actuarial science, mathematics, engineering and statistics or similar background requiring modeling, programming or quantitative analysis,
 
 
 &middot; Minimum 2 years experience in actuarial departments specialized in pricing,
 
 
 &middot; Strong analytical and problem solving skills,
 
 
 &middot; Good command of communication skills,
 
 
 &middot; Proven ability to work in a team-environment and service internal clients, set up projects proactively,
 
 
 &middot; Result oriented,
 
 
 &middot; Strong Technical Skills &ndash; prefer strength in at least one of: SQL, Phyton, R,
 
 
 &middot; Using tools such as Emblem/Radar is preferred,
 
 
 &middot; Intermediate knowhow of GLM,
 
 
 &middot; Very good command of both written and spoken in English,
 
 
 &middot; Very good command of MS Office applications,

 JOB DESCRIPTION
 
 
 
 &middot; Analyzes available data to determine relationships, trends, and issues.
 
 
 &middot; Analyzes external and internal data to build and validate technical pricing models
 
 
 &middot; Participates in the development of business recommendations and analysis of strategies
 
 
 &middot; Analyzes data for the development of rates, rating plans, pricing strategies, reserve programs, financial forecasts, and responses to insurance regulators.
 
 
 &middot; Coordinates, prepares and performs actuarial analyses to assist in the development of complex actuarial formulations leading to the recommendation of pricing strategies.
 
 
 &middot; Works with the department to prepare the actuarial response and communication for results of actuarial research to Business Unit product management areas.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics,Math or a related field.
 
 
 &bull; Several years of proven experience in finance or controlling roles.
 
 
 &bull; Ability to switch seamlessly between a challenger/enforcer role and a supporter/listener role, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 
 
 &bull; Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
 
 
 &bull; Strong communication skills with business-fluent English.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Managing all finance-related matters for one or two business units, covering both strategic controlling (ensuring the business unit remains on its mid- to long-term growth path) and operational controlling (including sales/customer controlling and cost controlling).
 
 
 &bull; Collaborating across all functions within the business unit, including sales and product management.
 
 
 &bull; Acting as a key business partner to the management team (Vice President, functional heads) and working closely with the CFO and COO.
 
 
 &bull; Serving as the main point of contact for finance-related topics across the entire team.
 
 
 &bull; Developing business cases and financial analyses to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
 
 
 &bull; Coordinating and executing budget planning and forecasting processes.
 
 
 &bull; Having knowledge of insurance financial statements
 
 
 &bull; Having knowledge of insurance product processes, underwriting,reinsurance, treaty, and claims prcocess
 
 
 &bull; Initiating performance and process improvement projects and leading selected initiatives.
