Overview Evalutions is a full-service residential interior design firm in downtown Cape Coral seeking a full-time Interior Design Assistant that is charismatic, extremely organized, and forward-thinking. This individual will assist in all aspects of the design process and provide administrative and clerical support to our licensed interior designer. Evalutions is part of a team of companies that includes new home construction, real estate sales, title, and insurance services. We have an extensive variety of projects, ranging from new home construction selections to furnishings, decorative window treatments, privacy treatments, custom millwork, etc.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design presentations, visual communication and space planning</li><li>Furniture, interior finish selections, and equipment sourcing and specifications</li><li>Project management and order tracking for multiple clients</li><li>Assist with client billing, including estimates and proposals</li><li>Maintain scheduling</li><li>Interact with clients as needed</li><li>Office administration and shipping/receiving</li><li>Run errands and participate in furniture installations</li><li>Maintain organization in studio space and materials library.</li><li>Communicate with reps and vendors</li><li>Open and close studio space as needed</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma</li><li>Interior Design Degree Preferred</li><li>Minimum 1-2 years interior design experience</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD is a MUST, Minutes Matter Studio, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a Must), QuickBooks also preferred</li><li>Understands scale, balance and hierarchy as it relates to design</li><li>Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>A passion for the profession of interior design with regards to form and function</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Demonstrate creative abilities and applied problem-solving skills</li><li>Possess strong verbal, written and visual communication skills with all levels of employees, management and clients</li></ul>If you are passionate about interior design, are eager to make a significant impact through your work AND meet the qualifications above, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
