Job Description:
The Graphic Designer for King &amp; Columbus will be instrumental in shaping captivating visual experiences that elevate our clients' brands and engage audiences across diverse platforms. This position will serve on the in-house graphic design team that serves both King &amp; Columbus and sister company The Post and Courier. This position will design static and animated visual graphics to be used across various marketing platforms and channels. This position will be client-facing as needed and will be involved in presenting creative strategy and visual proofs.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Participate in the creative direction for client projects, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and surpassing expectations.</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute innovative design solutions that resonate with target audiences.</li><li>
Translate client briefs into compelling visual narratives that communicate key messages and evoke desired emotions.</li><li>
Produce high-quality designs for print and digital mediums, including advertisements, marketing materials, web assets, and multimedia presentations.</li><li>
Participate in the day-to-day ad creative trafficking for sister company The Post and Couriers client base.</li><li>
Create visual marketing collateral and other design work for internal departments of King &amp; Columbus and The Post and Courier as requested.</li><li>
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive design innovation and maintain a competitive edge.</li><li>
Oversee project execution from concept to delivery, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.</li><li>
Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication, attentive listening, and a deep understanding of client needs.</li><li>
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to deliver integrated design solutions that drive business impact.</li><li>
Uphold brand consistency and integrity across all touchpoints, reinforcing our clients' identities and market positioning.</li><li>
Stay abreast on AIs impact on graphic design and visual branding and leverage AI-powered design tools as needed.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.</li><li>
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful creative solutions.</li></ul>
Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.</li><li>
Exceptional design sensibility, with a keen eye for composition, typography, and color theory.</li><li>
Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a natural inclination towards mentorship and team empowerment.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present design concepts effectively.</li><li>

The Digital Ad Operations Supervisor will coordinate the trafficking, internal communication and reporting around owned and operated (O&amp;O) digital advertising placements across various platforms for The Post and Courier and EPPNG properties as well as programmatic and extended products for King &amp; Columbus. This position will traffic/place digital ads on postandcourier.com through Google Ad Manager (GAM), e-newsletters, custom email marketing, contesting platforms, branded content and more. As part of the King &amp; Columbus agency staff, this position will also fulfill, monitor, optimize and report on client campaigns fulfilling through programmatic platforms and other extended tactics. This position will provide accurate and timely campaign fulfillment and communicate updates on campaigns regularly to internal stakeholders to share with clients. The Digital Ad Operations Supervisor will produce reporting on these digital advertising campaigns and will troubleshoot digital ad system issues as needed.</h1>
RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Execute digital ad trafficking across multiple platforms including postandcourier.com, e-newsletters, email marketing, branded content, and contesting platforms for display and video ads</li><li>Manage campaign setup, monitoring, and optimization using Google Ad Manager (GAM) and other ad serving platforms</li><li>Build, fulfill, monitor, and continually optimize programmatic and extended digital marketing campaigns for agency clients.</li><li>Process digital ad insertion orders, facilitate campaign communication, and generate reports using the company's order management system</li><li>Monitor and report campaign performance metrics, pacing, and placement issues to internal stakeholders in a timely manner</li><li>Ensure all digital ad creative (static, animated, and video) meets platform-specific technical specifications through collaboration with graphic designers</li><li>Communicate with outsourced graphic design partner AffinityX as needed to ensure ad creatives are proofed by established deadlines, and that urgent creative requests are prioritized.</li><li>Produce comprehensive campaign reports, providing data-driven insights to measure and improve campaign success</li><li>Manage digital voting ballots for EPPNG readers choice contests, including building out ballot, moderating nominations and votes, placing ad units on ballot, developing enhanced listings, and more.</li><li>Implement client-focused campaign management strategies to enhance satisfaction, retention, and renewal rates</li><li>Provide technical expertise on various digital advertising platforms used for owned and operated advertising</li><li>Conduct digital advertising inventory forecasting and reporting to support sales and planning efforts</li><li>Contribute to the improvement of workflows and processes, identifying optimization opportunities for campaign performance and operational efficiency</li><li>Resolve campaign fulfillment issues and ad server discrepancies through collaboration with ad operations teams and developers</li><li>Support the digital agency campaign fulfillment team by managing programmatic, targeted email, and paid social ad campaigns as need</li></ul>
Requirements, minimum education level, and experience:<ul><li><ul><li>BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, business or a similar field strongly preferred</li><li>Minimum of three years of experience in digital ad operations, digital marketing, or a similar role</li><li>Experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM) or other similar ad serving platforms</li><li>Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)</li><li>Proficiency in using project management and analytics tools</li><li>Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills</li></ul></li></ul>
