Job Summary: 
Livingston Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable A/P, Payroll &amp; Office Assistant to support our business office operations. This role blends accounts payable, payroll processing, and HR administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day facility operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Maintain all current and terminated employee personnel and health files</li><li>
Process new hires, terminations, wage changes, and employee status updates</li><li>
Assist with accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and tracking</li><li>
Process payroll twice monthly, audit timecards, and print/distribute checks</li><li>
Coordinate with VSO Payroll and HR departments to ensure accuracy and compliance</li><li>
Notify managers of upcoming evaluations and distribute necessary documentation</li><li>
Process background checks and onboarding documentation in a timely manner</li><li>
Assist with benefits administration including insurance, 401(k), and leaves of absence</li><li>
Track and report workplace injuries and maintain required documentation</li><li>
Complete daily census and labor reports and submit to VSO</li><li>
Train employees on time clock usage and manage timekeeping system enrollment</li><li>
Provide department heads with pre-payroll reports and make necessary corrections</li><li>
Provide general administrative and office support as needed</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School diploma or equivalent required</li><li>
Previous office experience required; payroll or A/P experience strongly preferred</li><li>
Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing environment is a plus</li><li>
Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality</li><li>
Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office preferred</li></ul>
