 The Business Development Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of managing and delivering high-quality responses to Client RFPs, RFIs and tenders. This role will ensure proposals are compliant, competitive, and aligned with the company&rsquo;s strategic objectives, helping secure new business opportunities in the digital, software and services sector.
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead the end-to-end bid process, including opportunity identification, qualification, planning, scheduling, stakeholder management and submission of proposals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactively scan and monitor procurement portals, frameworks and market intelligence platforms to identify new opportunities aligned to business strategy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyse tender requirements and map out to all stakeholders what is required, including timelines
 </li>
 <li>
 Horizon gaze to assess future market opportunities, collaborating with the development team to develop a product roadmap
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop, and enhance current, compelling, tailored proposals that highlight the company&rsquo;s value proposition and technical capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage, risk, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a knowledge base of reusable content, case studies, and best practices for future bids.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct post-bid reviews and lessons learned sessions to improve processes and win rates
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyse NHS Trust performance data and market intelligence to identify underperforming services and potential areas for engagement or service improvement partnerships

 </ul>
 
 Skills, Knowledge &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 An understanding of the NHS, including Primary and Secondary Care, is preferred but not essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience, interest in the application of digital technology preferable not essential
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Salesforce is preferred but not essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to analyse data and prepare reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in the process of bid management.
 </li>
 <li>
 A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 A team player with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with sales processes, pipeline management, and order fulfillment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and tools quickly.
