We&rsquo;re entering our next phase of growth: expanding from a DTC-powered rocketship into a multi-channel brand with retail, wholesale, and new product lines. With 300k+ active customers, strong unit economics, and an authentic community, we&rsquo;re ready for a world-class CMO to architect and scale the next chapter.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
The Role</h3>
This is not a title-upgrade job. We&rsquo;re looking for a CMO who has already led a $100M+ CPG brand through the transition from DTC omnichannel retail &mdash; and knows exactly how to build the organizational, creative, and operational backbone for sustained growth.
You will own:<ul>
<li>
Brand (positioning, storytelling, creative vision, campaigns)</li>
<li>Growth (performance marketing, media mix, attribution)</li>
<li>Retention/Lifecycle (building a real team, CRM, subscription strategy)</li>
<li>Community &amp; Content (UGC engine, influencer, creators, ambassadors)</li>
<li>Retail Marketing (shopper, wholesale, retail velocity engines)</li>
<li>You partner tightly with the CEO on big moments, partnerships, and vision, and with the President on execution, resourcing, modeling, and operational excellence.</li>
</ul>
Your mandate:
Build a marketing org that is fast, functional, emotionally resonant, brand-first, performance-driven, and capable of taking Everyday Dose from $100M $250M+.
What You&rsquo;ll Do:
1. Own and Evolve the Everyday Dose Brand<ul>
<li>
Steward the brand&rsquo;s emotional core (&ldquo;A bit better, every day&rdquo;), tone, and identity</li>
<li>Lead brand campaigns around key platforms (First Domino, Meet You on the Other Side, etc.)</li>
<li>Translate abstract brand strategy into clear messaging, briefs, and creative systems</li>
<li>Ensure consistency across DTC, retail, OOH, social, UGC, influencer, PR, and product</li>
</ul>
2. Build a High-Performance Growth Engine<ul>
<li>
Architect an efficient media mix across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, CTV, influencers, affiliates, and emerging channels</li>
<li>Maintain rigorous CAC/LTV guardrails as we scale spend</li>
<li>Ensure attribution modeling and cohort insights drive spend allocation</li>
<li>Partner with creative to systemize high-velocity testing</li>
<li>Build the growth org: VP Growth, media buyers, analysts, UGC/creative strategists</li>
</ul>
3. Build a World-Class Retention Org<ul>
<li>
(One of the biggest gaps we&rsquo;re filling)</li>
<li>Build and lead lifecycle/CRM, subscription, and post-purchase strategy</li>
<li>Develop rapid experimentation culture across email, SMS, onsite, product experience, and subscription journeys</li>
<li>Partner with CX leadership to translate retention insights into improved product and experience</li>
<li>Own metrics: M2/M3 retention, subscription LTV, AOV, repeat rate</li>
</ul>
4. Lead Integrated Creative + Content<ul>
<li>
Build the in-house UGC/content engine (1,000+ videos/year)</li>
<li>Develop UGC frameworks, creator playbooks, and scalable storytelling</li>
<li>Oversee brand creative: campaigns, photography, video, scripts, retail displays, OOH</li>
<li>Ensure creative moves fast but maintains quality and brand consistency</li>
</ul>
5. Drive Retail &amp; Wholesale Marketing Strategy<ul>
<li>
Develop retail launch playbooks (Target, Costco, Sprouts, etc.)</li>
<li>Own shopper marketing, promo calendars, retail media, field marketing</li>
<li>Create velocity-driving programs to support sell-through</li>
<li>Build partnerships with retailers and sales to ensure dominance in-store</li>
</ul>
6. Build a Strong Marketing Organization<ul><li>
Based on your leadership philosophy:</li><li><ul>
<li>CMO: gets paid to drive output, not operate tactically</li>
<li>VPs: build the org and systems under you (Growth, Brand, Creative, Retail)</li>
<li>Directors: demonstrate expertise and manage vertical execution</li>
<li>Managers: guide and learn</li>
<li>Associates: lean in and support the engine</li>
</ul></li><li>You will:</li><li><ul>
<li>Design the full 12&ndash;18 month org roadmap (headcount, sequencing, ownership)</li>
<li>Hire and coach senior leaders who elevate speed, clarity, and quality</li>
<li>Create cross-functional rituals and accountability frameworks</li>
<li>Replace complexity with clarity</li>
</ul></li></ul>
7. Be a Strategic Partner to CEO &amp; President<ul>
<li>
Work closely with CEO on big brand moments, partnerships, and long-term narrative</li>
<li>Work closely with President on financial modeling, prioritization, operational tempo, and resource allocation</li>
<li>Be a key voice in company strategy, product roadmaps, and growth bets</li>
</ul>

<li>Revenue on path from ~$100M toward $150M&ndash;$200M</li>
</ul>
Requirements
Must Haves:
<ul><li>10&ndash;15+ years in CPG marketing, with at least one role owning $50M&ndash;$250M growth</li>
Led a brand through DTC<li> omnichannel retail transition</li>
Proven ability to build and scale marketing orgs from 20<li> 60+</li>
<li>Deep understanding of growth marketing and creative testing</li>
<li>Strong brand storyteller who can translate emotion into execution</li>
<li>Experience with UGC creator ecosystems, paid social engines, and retail marketing</li>
<li>Competence with forecasting, modeling, and data-driven decision making</li>
<li>Known for clarity, speed, and building high-trust, high-output teams</li>
