Welcome home.********************************************************************************************************JOB SUMMARY:We are looking for a reliable and skilled Mobile Home Maintenance Technician to join our team and provide day-to-day maintenance services for our communities in the Texarkana area. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for keeping the property safe, clean, and well-maintained, performing a variety of tasks from basic repairs to landscaping and ensuring communal areas remain in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering quality work.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Replace carpets, wooden floors, and other flooring as needed.</li><li>Install and repair electrical components including wires, plugs, and switches.</li><li>Clean and maintain communal areas &mdash; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming regularly.</li><li>Paint communal areas, unit interiors, and exterior walls.</li><li>Properly dispose of trash and debris found in common areas.</li><li>Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, and general upkeep.</li><li>Track inventory and ensure adequate maintenance supplies are on hand.</li><li>Inspect and maintain safety equipment &mdash; fire extinguishers, alarms, hydrants, and emergency exits.</li><li>Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.</li><li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Prior experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a Mobile Home Park (MHP) or apartment setting.</li><li>HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment.</li><li>Basic plumbing and electrical skills are essential.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.</li><li>Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Willingness to work weekends, if necessary.</li><li>Professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members, residents, and management.</li></ul>Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and ensuring operational excellence.
